Hallo,

I draw 6 cuboid to form one cuboid. I exported to vrml file.

From there, I need to find each cube's rotation about x,y,z

ie.

by taking into consideration of 8 vertices , I have to find the rotation parameters.

I do not have wordpad and can't seem to locate anything that will open .wrl files. Can you put it in .pdf? (many 'print' programs offer that option.)

Added. I looked at your problem. There's a reason it's on the computer. The complexity in doing it manually is WAY beyond my skill and initiative (I do things on my hand calculator). Suggest you ask a question about how to use the vrml computer program to accomplish your end. You may have better results.

If I had the exact address of a house built on a piece of property, that was at one time farm land, how or where on the internet could I find public records of what was on that land, before the house was built? The house and the houses around it were infiltrated with excessive amounts of mold. I need to find out if the houses were built on some kind of toxic waste land, or if there were springs underground, or if something has been covered up. The house is located in the Little Britain Township, in Lancaster, PA. Thanks. Also, any college professors or students that know of any kind of toxic chemical that could possibly grow mold, I'd be interested in hearing about it. I once read that Erin Brockovich found excessive amounts of mold in her house in Conejo Valley, CA. and was wondering if any kind of toxic chemical being dumped on land could cause it. If it helps a mold test was taken, and Penicillium,Asperguillius, and Cladisporin were found. No water leaks were ever found in the house

Start with the county recorder or assessor's office. Some make them available online; others make them available only at their office, especially older records. The address would connect to you to the assessor's parcel numbers. You could also look at nearby parcels. Note that street address schemes are sometimes changed. Check with the local health departments about testing.

I asked this question before but I only received a couple of answers so I am asking again. :) I am just curious what you all find attractive. That doesn't just mean physical. Do you find intelligence attractive? Do you find sporty guys/girls attractive? Do you find freckles attractive? Anything at all that you find attractive! Yes, I realize everyone has a different idea of what is attractive and that is why I ask. :) Let me know! Thanks!

What do you find attractive?
Me and some of my buddies came up with this theory of why we find certain girls attractive, and other girls who are physically hot, we just can't get on board with. Its what we called a triangle theory. We even presented this to our friends. Sad, I know, but bear with me. So on the top, theres physical attractiveness. You have to be into the girl physically (freckles aren't good or bad for me, but I'm usually into darker girls and they tend not to have freckles as often, or maybe they're not as visible). Also with the physical, I used to be into athletic girls when I was active in high school basketball and I used to run, but now that I'm out of it, I'm less into girls who are into it (I guess its a 'what I can relate to' thing).

On another corner you have personality. And not the 'shes not that attractive but she has a great personality' kind of personality. More like, can I get along with her. Every guy has dated a super hot girl they couldn't hold a conversation with for more than five minutes without wanting to run away screaming. Those don't last long. We've also dated the girl whos kind of cute, and you ask her out on a whim, and it turns out ya'll click. Shes not more or less personable than that other hottie, but it just works for you. Thats personality.

Lastly is vibe. And this is the hardest to explain. I've been a serial dater for a lot of my college years (the last 4 of my life), and I've noticed that some girls just have this positive vibe about them (maybe they're just having a good day/month/year, I dunno) and there are some girls who have a negative vibe. Some of it is tangible. If a girl bitches and whines a lot and is generally not a pleasant person when you first meet her, that obviously gives out a negative vibe that you'll associate with her. But a lot of it is intangible, and I can't really explain it. But I'm sure you've met dudes who just rub you the wrong way even though they're good looking and not really rude or anything.

I've never typed this out, and I realize I'm writing a book so I'll wrap it up. A guy needs all three of these things in a girl for him to actually date her, be with her, and enjoy being with her. There are other things too that we didn't incorporate into our triangle theory like how the sex is, how well she gets along with your friends and family (even though thats kind of vibe), but our theory isn't perfect. Also, I suspect elements of theory work with girls and whether or not they're into guys.

Back in the day, you used to be able to find a wide selection of adult videos featuring true hermaphrodites (I even had a few of them myself), but sadly my VHS player finally died on me the other day.

Now I find myself in the process of upgrading my adult video collection to DVD, but I can't seem to find any videos of true hermaphrodites. I have found plenty of videos that claim to feature hermaphrodites, but they all seem to be either women wearing strap-ons or transsexuals who have cut a fake slit behind their unit.

I'm going crazy. I'm having trouble finding more of the border I found at a yard sale. I thought it would be pretty easy to find since it has the web site on the sticker, but I'm guessing it's discontinued. I have looked over the internet over and over and have not found anything like it. It's Disney baby, Imperial brand, and has the disney princess theme on it w/ May All Your Dreams come true written on the top. The princess's are more like stick figures than the actual characters. If anyone knows where I could possibly find some more of this border, I would truly appreciate it. I know I could just get another border, but I'm completely in love w/ this one, and so I thought I'd give my all in trying to find it. Thank you so much!

My first thought was that the JC in front of the JC9210B was for JC Penney. So that was the first place I looked. This doesn't appear to be exactly what you described but it does have "All Your Dreams Will Come True" written on it. It is a princess theme and comes with lots of accessories.

If you can't find the exact duplicate, you could mix or match other borders with it? For example, find a solid color that matches the colors on the border you have. Place the border that you love in strategic places in the room and fill in the blank areas with the solid color. It doesn't have to be a solid color, it could be any thing that compliments the border you have.

Where can I find a tiny battery operated men's shaver?

I saw a businessman playing around with one of these a while ago and have been trying to find one for my boyfriend ever since, but I have not been able to find anything like it anywhere on the internet. I have found a range of small travel / pocket shavers for men on the market, but they are angular in design with straight blades. The one I am looking was a three head rotary blade type, the casing was all metal (silver-tone) and very sleek in design, and it cannot have been bigger than about 4 inches long. It may have been on a keyring. Please help me find this! The closest I have found to this is the Seiko S-Yard Cleancut (and similar products) but this has only one head and is obviously not really designed for use on men's cheeks!

edit: I checked the Georgia laws on private ownership of exotic pets and it did not list raccoons as prohibited; however, another website on raccoons states that they are banned in Georgia. I would suggest contacting your state DNR to check on the current laws.

Reply:As adorable as Raccoon's are, you should know that in GA they are illegal to be kept as pets. You can get into a lot of trouble and have fines and even some jailtime. Also, having worked with wildlife rehab, Raccoon's are adorable but ALOT of trouble!! If you are really interested in raccoons I would contact your local wildlife rehab center (the Chattahoochee Nature Center is a good one) and see if they are accepting volunteers or interns. That way you can spend time with Raccoons that really need some help and be within the legal laws of GA.

Reply:Raccoon are WILD animals and ARE NOT to be kept as pets. Only if you are going to rehab them. I know someone who does and it's not a good idea to raise a raccoon. Why don't you talk to your local Game and Fish Commission about it please.
Reply:It is illegal in Georgia to keep a raccoon as a pet. They are wild animals and they don't make good pets. Also though you may find some goofball criminal who raises some to be pets- they have instincts of wild animals, not domesticated animals so its cruel to make them live as pets.

Reply:You need to have a special permit to own one of those, it's a wild animals. You have to pay an annual fee to have the permit, and if you don't get the permit and they found out you have that animal, they will take it away and you can be charged.

I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I like to make people laugh (I used to do stand up comedy. When I ask girls what they look for in a guy they say a sense of humor i have come to realize either that is a lie or just a line they use because if that was true I would have found someone by now. I liked your question. Let me give you some tips that I use.

First you have to be willing to speak to women, second you have to be prepared to deal with the fact that not all of the women that you approach in public will be open to meeting someone new. If rejection, silent blank stares or the worst, ignoring you as if you're not there occurs you must be prepared to move on. Quickly. Don't dwell on awkward moments that may not go as you planned, but look at them this way: meeting/dating someone new is just a numbers game and each rejection brings me one person closer to that perfect woman that I want to meet. This will give you an average (not meant to sound as shallow as it does)--i.e., for every 5 women I approach, maybe 1 talks to me, etc.

Something else that you could try that maybe a bit less confrontational is just saying hi. You don't have to stop and talk, just say hi and maybe how are you today, and keep walking. This is a very southern thing. I moved to Michigan from the south and figured speaking to everyone was just an american thing....it's not. The awkward stares I got were quite unnerving. But, this is partly because I wasn't really trying to flirt, I was just being southern and friendly. You however will be flirting. After trying this exercise for a while, starting a conversation might be a little easier

Try making eye contact more often and smiling once you've got someone's glance. Try bookstores (new and used), coffeehouses, malls, grocery stores, downtown plazas where people are just lounging around.

Oh yeah, and waitresses and people on the job are good practice. Some will be cold, but most will try to be nice to you.

Don't count out bars, just don't drink and keep in mind that the drunk chicks probably won't answer their phone when they sober up.

But one of the best venues to meet possible love interests is in new classes. Regardless of your age you are able to learn something new in a class. Get in shape and join and yoga or pilates class, shed that fear to move and join a salsa dancing class, or German or cooking, etc. These classes are usually offered at a YMCA or you could just check the phone book for yoga classes (or self defense [just thought of that] i.e., kung fu, wing chun, etc.). Some public school systems or recreation departments offer classes like this that usually run for 12 weeks....the one in Ann Arbor Michigan does. Just call your local public school system or recreational department or check the phone book.

Reply:Well, continue to establish yourself, so your ready if marriage should sneak up on you, or that you are at least self gratifying through your work. There are lots of places to meet women where they aren't going to be dog drunk when you meet. Try a church singles group, go bowling, browse the fruit section of a grocery store, take your dog to the park for a walk when it seems to be the most high traffic time, volunteer at a soup kitchen, or homeless shelter, and try coaching little league or soccer. Where can I find warm knee-high socks for women?

Does anyone where I could find some warm socks that come up to just below your knee, sized to fit women? I also don't want to pay $5 or $6 apiece for them.

I can't find warm socks anywhere. In winter, it's cold, and I get cold if my legs are exposed under my jeans. Even women's boot socks only come halfway up your calf (and tend to fall down after a while).

I don't understand why this is such a hard thing to find. You'd think that since women get cold more than men, they'd make warm socks for women, but it's tough to find even crew-length socks, let alone ones that reach your knee.

The closest I can find is men's tube socks, but they have an icky seam right on the toe, and usually feel icky. I don't need cashmere or anything, but scratchy socks? No thanks.

I have seen websites that sell knee-high socks for around $7 apiece, and that's more than I want to pay. I don't need fancy colors and patterns, just socks that will keep me warm!

I've recenetly got out of rehab for alcohlism and want to find a counselar to help me deal with my life. I've tried AA and really don't like any of the meetings in my area. I know I don't want to go back to the way I was, but right now thats the only thing that makes sense to me. This is why I am tring to find help but just don't know where to find it. Barrie, Orillia... Has SOS Simcoe Outreach Services.

If you can afford it there are lots of psychotherapists that deal with addiction issues. Stay away from old friends, places and things and take it one day at a time.

I'm 16 and I would love to be able to find my real father, but how do you find out the name of one of your birth parents when your family wont talk about that person at all?? All they refer him as is JP, maybe its his initials. I did have the idea to check my birth certificate, but his name wasnt on there, and for some reason they made sure he wasnt going to be.. I've been wanting to meet him since I was really little, and now I decided to try to start finding him.. Any ideas on how to find out his name so I can have a chance on finding him???

i was raised by my adoptive step father and maternal mother. they always told me i would never want to meet my real father because he was an asshole. of course i didnt listen. i did meet him and it sucked. i was all pumped up for someone who cared and really he didnt care at all. i had made up this fantasy father in my head and he didnt live up to it at all. not even close it made things worse not better.

just be sure you really want to find him. sometimes its better to just wonder and make up a wonderful person in your head. chances are if he hasnt tried to find you he isnt worth finding.

I am in the 7th grade, and I haveto read the full version of the Odyssey by homer. I have to then find 17 specific words in the book. I have already read the book twice, but I still can't find all of them. Is there an easier way to find specific words in the books. I tried to go to amazon.com and typed the word in for the excerpt, but it didn't find it. Is there an easy way I can find 17 specific words in the odyssey?

Well, amazon sometimes offers "search inside this book".. but with a book that's been translated numerous times such as the Odyssey your problem might be that your (dumb-sounding) assignment might be pertaining to a different translation than the one you've read twice.
Reply:first off post only the ones you can't find. Also look up the definition of each word at wikipedia, the definiton of each word might give you a clue as to where in the story some of these words come up if they are not very common.

I do not like to go to a lot of work functions because I am there to work not socialise and find it hard to get on well with people.

Some work places I like to socialise because I find people friendly and approachable and down to earth, but the new jobs I have been in I find people more arrogant and in little cliques.

The young women in the office are so outgoing that they are almost stupid, I find. I am not against what they do but they seem so immature but the funny thing is they get on well with everybody.

The managers seem to be so far up their asses and stuck up and do not take anyone seriously.

I am nice and polite to others but certain types of people I just do not get on well with.

I find it hard to socialise with people because I am quiet. Is anyone else like this?
When did you start working in my office?? Yes, I know how you feel. The best advice is to realise that each person is a separate entity with their own background, belief system, ect. You need to be true to yourself and how you feel and let other peoples opinions slide off your back as irelevant to you. They dont own the truth although they often act as if they do, its just their opinion, if they are average there may be enough of them to form a clique. Be yourself and chat a little to make contact with different people if you feel like it - but always be true to how you see things and feel dont let them weigh you down with the negative way they see things.
Reply:I was like that when I got to my first base. Had a hard time fitting in with different clicks and different groups. I didn't socalize or hang out with anyone for the first few months I was there. When I moved to my second base (2 1/2 years later), I just sorta put myself out there, and hung out with co-workers at different social functions after work.

A lot of people are also a different animal when they're away from work. Including managers with sticks up their asses. My advice is to just put yourself out there, show people what you're about, and see how they respond.

Reply:I have a similar problem. I'm quiet and get along with select people. I don't like games and dishonesty. I tend to like people that are straight forward. However, I would say within reason. I get along with most people though because I'm nice. I'm at work to get my job done. I keep socializing to a minimum but it's because I'm nice and will continue talking longer than I should. Don't mean to sound critical here...but when you find a turtle in the middle of the road you shouldnt take it home....it is a wild turtle!!

You take the turtle and put it over and off the road in the direction it was headed. Turtles are smart and they always know where they are going...so if you were to put it in the opposite direction it was travelling someone else would find it on the road again...
Reply:If it has two red/orange bold or faint stripes on the side of it's head it is a Red Ear slider...if it has a completely yellow belly and nothing else it is a yellow belly slider..those are the most common along with a western and eastern painted turtle which is difficult to describe so you'll have to google that to get a better idea of what you found.

Alright-it is a boxie..box turtles have a homing sense and will try to get back to where you found them-even if it is dangerous. You should put him back exactly where you found him, except not in the middle of the road this time. If you want to own a land tortoise, a russian tortoise is a good option. You will need a long terrarium with appopriate heat and uvb lighting. Just don't keep this one.

Reply:Yes, that is an Eastern Box Turtle, not an aquatic species, it is a land turtle.

PA requires a permit and/or limits/restricts the capture of certain turtle species. As you can see in the link below, in PA it is not legal to simply take an Eastern Box Turtle from the wild.

Turtles and tortoises are actually rather difficult and expensive to care for properly. Most people do not realize this. If you are going to try to keep the animal please do extensive research on turtle care. Do you know about the needs of a reptile for basking temperatures? Its UV light requirements? Do you know what it needs nutritionally? Frankly, IMHO, I think you should just let it go where you found it. If you don't provide for all its needs it is going to sicken and die.

I emailed myself some uni work and opened it on my own computer. I added A LOT more work to it and definitely saved it (because I save things I type about every 2minutes). Now I can't find what I've done, where or under what name I have saved it in Word. I found the document I emailed myself but that's not got all the extra work I added to it. I'm freaking out, it's due tomorrow and it's killing me that I have actually done the work but can't find it. Any ideas on how to find it?

Babes try searching the recycling bin, type in the name of the file that you saved, and also try opening it through word.

Reply:If you emailed the file to yourself, it could have been saved in a hidden temp directory. Try searching for a word or phrase that you know is the file - and make sure (using advanced serach options) that you check hidden files. The file may not have a .doc suffix - try excluding files earlier than the date you sent the email.

Reply:One option is to open up the program, and look under the File menu. Most programs have a "recently saved/used programs" sub-menu; MS Office programs have this at the bottom of the File menu; other programs have it as an option to hover over. If you did save any additional data (after d/l the file), it should be in this list.

Depending on the program you used, you might just try opening up a new window/file in that program, enter in any data anywhere, and then save the file. The folder that Windows suggests you use, MIGHT be the last folder that you saved a file in there. Why not look in that directory and see?

For both ways, you need to open up the program that you were working in, such as Word, Word Perfect, Excel, whatever.
Reply:When you double-click on an attachment it opens in a temporary location. The temporary location is on your hard drive but not in a normal document folder.

What I think you have done is opened the document but not saved it to My Documents.

The temporary location for attachments in Outlook is as follows:

Open My Computer

Point to the Tools menu, then Folder options.

There is an option to Show hidden files and folders. Make sure that it is selected and enabled.

Click OK.

In My Computer:

Open the hard drive (C).

Double click on the Documents and Settings folder.

Double click on the folder for your username.

Double click on the Local Settings folder.

Double click on the Temporary Internet Files folder.

You should see a folder with a name beginning with OLK. This folder is the Outlook temporary folder.

Double-click on that folder. Any opened and edited attachments should be saved there.

Move the file from this location to a safe location such as your My Documents folder.

Reply:Should be easy to find. use windows search and look for the type of document it was and the date (more or less) that you know you created it. To do this:

1. Start, Search, "for files or folders"

2. name enter "*.doc" or whatever it was (.doc for word doc, .ppt for powerpoint, etc.).

3. search options enter a date range (last week maybe?).

you can also search for text that you know is inside the document! Type this in the field "Containing Text".

If it does not show up, then select "advanced options" and select "system folder" and "hidden files".

Also, check your recycle bin for the file. It should also be in the recent documents folder for your user (regardless of where it was saved).

it was 2d and at the start there was a civilian that you could fight and if you did he always said "fancy a fight?" to fight them you had to click a little red button at the top of theyre text box.the weapon he starts out with is a bouble bladed pole... and at the start there was a castle and you had to climb them to get to where if you went left you found a shop and right another part of the castle.it was an online game i first found it a addicting games.com but i cant remember witch catagory. it had a kindof wierd name.it sponcered armorgames.you can control the char. with the ^ %26lt; %26gt; "cant find the symbol that looks like the down key so." and down. he was dressed with casual colors and it had quit bad detail.when you wanted to talk to someone you pressed space. you could set the buttons to like "dodge" at the top button "attack" as the middle and so on .there were five buttons that you could set.it starts out as only 2 set dodge on the top and attack as the middle.you clicked them.

Hey all, I need a little help here. There was this game I played on the internet a while back, and now I cant find it. It was a flash-based horror game, and it had 2 (maybe 3) installments. The game started out with you waking up in the woods at sunset and you find a deserted house. I believe the name was some Latin word starting with an 'E' If I recall correctly, there was a part where you find a head...or something...in a microwave, one where you crawl through a heating duct, and one where you find a hidden passage behind a furnace in the basement.

Where can I find this Celtic Poem?

There's a poem I found several years ago, it was quoted on the cover of a book. The book was a collection of Irish photography (published around the year 2000), and the poem was apparently some kind of old Celtic Sonnet. It's author was credited as "anonymous". Now I can find neither the poem nor the book on which I read it. I can partially remember some of the lines, it was like this:

I never dreamed that you would die

Until your horse came back to me empty….

....I found you under… (a tree or something)….

…no priest at your side…

...only the widow… whose scarf was around you…..

There was so much blood, I didn’t know what to do

I cupped my hands and drank it.

Another thing I remember about it is that some strange word was used in place of the word “scarf”. I had to look it up online at the time to find out that’s what it meant.

I’d really like to find this poem in its entirety. Can you help me?

Then is shows atemu looking down at him. I can't seem to find this scene in the series. I really want to find that episode and its killing me. If you need more info I can give a better discription.

this question is for people who are either my size or know someone my size...

i'm morning and i have to dress in all black for the next 2 years...it's getting difficult for me to find clothes that fit...i'm a size 0, but due to the 'new' size switch'aroo a 0 is more like a 4 and that leaves me hunting in the night for 00 and 000 which are almost non-existent...

i know that most people have th opposite problem, but in all honesty, as a 40 year old i should not be hoping to find clothes in the kids department...

i'm trying to find an ankle-length sweatercoat that is heavy and hopefuly lined...i decided that for the winter i will stick to simply black turtlenecks and pants...it's hard to find tight fitting turtlenecks...and black jeans and corduroy pants for casual wear...even victoria secrets xs pants are big for me (just to give you an idea)

I'm getting married in May and need to find out people's addresses to send them an invitiation. Is there any kind of free search engine that will find mailing addresses? I can find physical addresses easy enough but can't find their mailing addresses. Any other tips that people might have to find out mailing addresses would be appreciated.

I would think that physical and mailing addresses are, for most everyone, one and the same. There are different types of people search engines where you can look them up by name and hope there aren't multiple people with the same name, or reverse phone number search. But, if you know a person well enough to invite them to your wedding, perhaps you know them well enough to actually call them up and ask for their address.

Reply:The best thing to do is call people up. I would not trust a phone book or a search engine. They have the potential to give wrong info, like incorrect zip codes or street spellings. Also, make sure people haven't moved recently or started using a PO Box.

I've tried friendster.

I doubt he has any other accounts because I googled his full name, and there were no links to his name. When you google some people's name, they actually lead to their webpages because I found some of my old classmates but I haven't found this guy on there.

I tried yellow pages on Yahoo! and that didn't work.

I went to the alumni page of my school and there was no sign of him there either.

Does anybody know how I could find his contact address/number/email? Or, just how to find this guy?

P.S.

I also contacted our high school registrar to find contacts related to him. What makes this more difficult is I don't know if he's in Asia or in the States anymore. He's from the States, but moved to Asia during high school so that how I don't know if he's back here or still in Asia.

Hi, How can I find a good chronic pain Doctor who will keep prescribing me my medicines that I am on. My doctor is leaving after 8 years and I am on a "good, working medication schedule" after many years of trying other things. We have found what works but now I need to find a new doctor who will prescribe me the same medications (narcotics %26amp; anxiety medications) within 30 days. I didnt get much notice so I need to move quick. I hate to go and see "20" (so to say) doctors for them to tell me that they cant prescribe them to me.

I live in Wisconsin %26amp; most doctors seem to be scared to prescribe narcotics even though I have been on them for years.

Shopping for a new doctor seems impossible in less then 30 days. How do I find a good one who will help me and keep me on the regimine that I have been on for 6 years?

Pain management physicians are used to prescribing anxiolytics as a part of the complex of pain syndomes. If you are on chronic pain medications, then the proper place for you is a pain medicine specialist. Your current doctor should have made a referral, and to not properly hand off his patients is poor practice.

Have your records transferred, showing good control on the current regimen, to a pain specialist. They will continue the meds. As they specialize in pain control they may have some new ideas, but it up to you to discuss these and agree or not agree to try new things.

Reply:I would first get a copy of all mr medical records from current dr. The make a copy of these and give to your new dr. They are much more likely to prescribe what you have been taking when they see it on paper. Seeing a pain dr. instead of a regular PCP would be a good idea too. Most pain management dr.'s are big on prescribing meds.

I have chronic pain and am also on a combination of meds that work great and yes they sometimes want to change them but I stick to what I know works for me. It is getting really bad for people who have legitimate needs for pain pills after so many people abused the system just to get high. I even had to sign a paper in AZ with my Dr. that I would only get my pills from him and if he found out I played the system and went to several Dr.s for more I would be put on a list of abusers in that state and he wouldn't have me as a patient anymore...wow! That is what people that are looking to get high have done for us in pain. You can write me at my e mail if you like and if you live near me I can give you my Dr.s name.He is great,understands chronic pain, watches med use closely but these days a Dr. has to. Good luck finding one but start now in case you have to go to a couple before finding one that will believe you, see you do not abuse them and See's that the ones you are on work for you.

So my house just burned down. The last time he called was from his work. I tried to find him on the computer through a peole search but it all costs money. We are going to have the same number when the house is rebuilt, but her has no way to get ahold of me. I haven't seen him and was going to send him a letter and some pictures but it won't even find an address. I don't know what to do. All of the sited costs money to just get eh infromation tha tincludes humdreds of peole with the exact same name. That won't help because he doesn't have aphone. I was just wondering if there was a site that would actually narrow it down a lot so that I could find his address. I understand why they costs money so that people don't go steal his identity. I am going to the dentist for the 1st time in 3 yrs (I was 14). I'm almost 18. I had on %26amp; off bulimia from age 15 to about 4 mos ago. The bottoms of my front and bottom teeth are white but a tint of yellow, but the tips of my bottom and top teeth in the front are pretty clear. Is this from bulimia? Will the new dentist I'm going to find this out? He is local. What are the odds of him finding out? If he does, will he have to bring it up, because I put it in the past when I found out the effects of it. Also, will they tell my mom. My aunt is taking me though. They shouldn't tell, right? Also, what will they have to do to my teeth if they find out. WIll they send me to a specialist or just bascially tell me to never do it again and let me leave %26amp; pretend nothings wrong. Please help, I'm sick my stomach thinking about this. Also, I don't brush my teetch everyday, so maybe he'll just think I need some major cleaning? The appt. is on 2 %26amp; 1/2 hrs. Help ME!

The stomach acid dissolves the enamel off your teeth, so any dentist that knows what they're doing will be able to recognize whats you've gone through.

My advice is to not try and hide it. It sounds like you're on the right track now. Stand up and take responsibility for it. If he asks, simply say, "I had a problem with bulimia in the past, but I no longer have this problem."

You are 18, (here thats considered an adult, but I dont know about where you are) so no need to go telling your parent. If you are still considered a minor then he might be obligated to by law.

Don't worry, if what you say is true and its a thing of the past, then you have nothing to worry about from anyone.

You might want to brush your teeth every day though, theres no getting around that one.
Reply:Honey, the dentist will know because bulimia damages the teeth. He shouldn't tell your aunt as this is confidential information. He may talk to you about it and some of the things that you can do to help you with your problem. Bulimia is a sickness and I strongly suggest you seeking help for it. My ex-daughter-in-law had this problem and she at times doesn't have it under control. Please get some help. Your health depends on it.

Computer occasionally cannot find hard drive?

My computer occasionally cannot find the hard drive. The computer tells me "no operating system can be found on all drives" and if I restart it over and over, eventually, it will find the hard drive and boot normally. I cannot find anything in the event log to indicate any hard drive failure.

I'd like to know how to isolate this problem to find out if it is the cable, the hard drive, or the motherboard.

Try this.

First try to boot up in safe mode.

To start the computer in safe mode:

Continously press F8 as you turn on the computer until it comes up in safe mode

(F8,F8,F8 etc.)

Use the arrow keys to highlight the appropriate safe mode option, and then press ENTER.

If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot system,(unlikely) choose the installation that you need to access using the arrow keys, and then press ENTER.

Someone is sending some mails, very childish but annoying. I guess is someone who tries to get in the middle of two friends, me and a friend, I don't really know, but I just would like to find out who is this person. It is a way to find out where a mail come front just knowing the nick? Does a PC program person can find out thoughout an special way, researshing the computer or something like that? I am very curious about this and would appreciated any comments or information. I am about to take my PC to a computer store to see if they can find out, but is so expensive. The way radioactive dating works is C-14 is unstable, thus it will decay into C-12 over time by losing neutrons in it's nucleus. The half-life is the amount of time for 1/2 of the C-14 to decay into C-12. C-12 doesn't go back into C-14 unless it is made to. Thus, we can accurately calculate the age of very old specimens using the C-14 to C-12 ratio with simple math.

I can't remember exactly what it's called, but the premise is you are a stick figure trapped in a single screen environment, and must use your surroundings and fellow stick men to find a way to escape. Using the mouse you click on different objects (like a crane, a birds nest, a UFO, a teleport pad, etc.) in a specific order at a specific time to make your escape.

The creator has I believe made 3 games in the series, and multiple other flash games that can be found on his website, but for the life of me I can't remember what it's called or where I found it.

Ok heres the scoop. This guy came to my house and said he wanted to use his metal detector in my yard, i asked why and he replied with there was a old school house here at one pont in time. There is a well at the end of our drive way and i just found out it was called "Hull" and there was also a teacher there his name was Lyle Stryker and thats all it said. i hope to find out why it isnt here anymore and when it was here. Possibly more teachers, or even names of students. I am not sure how much recorded history there really is but any info on how to find such details would be greatly appreciated. First off you shouldn't be letting some guy into your yard. I would contact your city and find out the details of what was on your property. He has no rights to come in and search. On the history channel I found out that our universe (space) is expanding at a very rapid rate. is it possible that one day we can find an exit in outerspace...any exit in space that can lead us into heaven or perhaps another dimension like ours or we will one day reach a different origin that shows us we have left outerspace, because we found an opening to escape the no oxygen place we call as "outerspace"? Hi Im 29 from sydney, and find it difficult to find genuine men...i have now become very negative and untrusting and hurt... I am constantly lied to, cheated on, walked over and used. I work as a nurse, I am quite old fashioned, I love kids, I love all the normal things (except sport and clubbing).. Im a very homely person, Im not that ugly or fat, I have my own homes, a stable job, good family, educated....

Clubs have not worked,the net has not worked, friends of friends has not worked, newspaper ads etc all waste of time! Have not met even one gay male that I have remained friends with.... they are all after sex and if they dont get it...bye bye..Otherwise if they do get sex, they dont fulfil me emotionally. I am a very sensitive and emotional person......whihc is probably not a good mix when it comes to looking for men.... which is also why women find it hard to find men!! They dont tell the truth, cant commit, cant communicate! Where can i find a cute woggy mummies-boy!!??

I am not sure where to find this person, but don't become negative and untrusting of men. It does seem that you have had your fair share of terrible experiences, but negativity shows through when you meet people. If you go in with ideas of disaster, the date will not prove worthwhile either way.

Keep thinking that you will find the person you are meant to be with, and not give up on that. Someone is out there that will have everything you admire/desire, and vice versa for the person when they meet you.

The only thing I look for initially in a date is someone who can hold a conversation over a cup of coffee. Then I take it from there.

I hope that you find the mama's boy you are searching for, but remember.....

A lot of them may not have a place to call their own because they crave the security of their mother.

Reply:Well not being gay or even something close to that I'm not sure if this will help. However the advice to wait seems right to me. Finding your true sole mate isn't like finding a job. It usually happens to come along when you least expect it to happen.

I say just relax, go about your life, and some day, some where you will meet up with him/her. I don't think that you should be so closed minded as to define your sole mate in terms of having a particular hair color or body build or career path, etc.

You will know you have met the right person. Trust me, there will be no doubt in the minds of either you or him/her.

How do I find y-intercept given two points?

I realize this question has been asked many many times, but I can't seem to find the answer...

I have two points given and from them I must find the equation of the line in slope-intercept form.

The points are: (44.2, -22.8) and (25.2, 34.2).

I know how to find the slope (m). y2-y1/x2-x1

which would be...

(-22.8-34.2)/(44.2-25.2)

-57/9

m= -3

So far, the equation is y= -3x+b

Now for the y intercept (b)...I get confused. I wouldn't say no to help finding the intercept but what I really want is just an equation to find the y-intercept.

How do I find y-intercept given two points?
just substitute either of the points in

b = 3x + y

either point should give the same answer (this is a good check)

using (x,y) = (44.2, -22.8)

then

b = 3(44.2) + (-22.8) = 109.8

so

y = -3x + 109.8

.....

-22.8 = -3(44.2) + b

-22.8 = -132.6 + b

you can plug in either (-22.8, -34.2) or (44.2, -25.2) for x1 and y1

Hi.I'm Iranian and I live in Iran.When I chat with people from other countries, I understand that they have totally wrong ideas about Iran.I just wrote this article to correct you.

The first thing they accuse our government of, is that they don't let you be free.Actually, Iranians would be some of the most liberal people in the world (liberal meaning not obeying laws that they don't like).Thousands of millions of strict rules in other countries, don't even exist in Iran.Also, you should understand that what may seem so normal to you, maybe a nightmare for us and vise versa.That's why you don't understand a few of Iran's laws.In Iran every single house has a sattelite. Sattelite channels have a serious influence on people,the most fashionable clothes are worn by Iranians.Maybe it's a kind of immitation, but still it's got an unique style, only there are scarves that don't seem to be worn because we're Muslems.People wear fashionable scarves to make themselves more attractive and most part of their hair is out.They do whatever they wish to, and some of the things they do, don't fit our culture at all, however it's normal in Iran, since people have got used to such acts and behaviours.You really need to pay a visit to Iran and you'll be surprised seeing the difference between what you imagine and how the real Iran is! Some charactristics of Iranians would be: Proud, greedy, hard-working, intelligent, ambitious, not realistic, not so religious, not so generous, not punctual, well-dressed, formal, well-educated, warm and friendly and hospitable.

It's now 2007 and people still think we are uneducated people living in deserts, riding camels and carrying around guns!!!!

See how the media are fooling people? None of the things you hear on the media about Iran are true.If you think I've been admiring Iran too much, that's because you'd do the same thing if you were looked down nearly everyday for some false reasons.

I thought it's better to clarify some political matters as well:

Some of the Americans I chatted with (not all of them), said here in the U.S it's said that president Ahmadinejad hates the U.S and Israel and wants to nuke them!! This is so odd, their media is good at putting comments.It's easy to show a video or an image of our president or leader on the T.V screen or on the internet and say he says this, he says that.....I really don't get the point why our politicians defame themselves by talking about the things that have got nothing to do with us.Does verbal defence of Palestinians cause them to have a better life?The thing is that they occasionally make some statements that the media would misuse it agaisnt Iran. like picking up some specific sensitive phrases from among a long speech (without reffering to the main points and reasons for that speech) and putting so many bad comments on that.No sane person would take it serious, cos everyone would have known by now that 99.99% of what the media say turns out to be wrong and the same percent of what they predict would happen, never happens!

First of all, Iranians don't hate anyone.If our government complains about some injustice going on in the world, it's not bad.Is it? We don't hate Jews, nor do we hate Americans.They're both nice people.If they're media are fooling them, it's not their fault.If I were in their shoes, I would hate Iran too regarding all the terrible lies they keep hearing about it nearly everyday.Although ordinary Iranians don't care about world affairs, I've got to say that for us Israel is not equal with Jews! Israel is a govt, Jews are faithful people! A few of them live here in our neighbourhood and they live just like the rest of the Iranians.No difference.And two of Iranians parliment members are Jews. Who says we want to force the others to convert to Islam?Have you ever found a Muslem knocking at your door asking you to do so?That's so funny. Christians and Jews are both God believers and respectful to us.I wonder why the media like putting words in our mouth and raising hatred.In Iran, religion would be the least important thing, it means that where you come from and what you're religion is, are not important to us at all.And I wonder why some Muslem countries think there's a problem between Shiites and Sunnies, it doesn't make sense in Iran.

I wonder Iran is a threat to whom? How is it possible for Iran to nuke somewhere while it doesn't have any nukes?!!!(The media have never been intelligent liars).Has Iran ever attacked anywhere?There's no proof of that.That's what even nuclear agency says.Only Iran's oppositions are pulling Iran's leg, otherwise what we're doing is legal.What they ask us to do is illegal and nonsense.

Some say he said: Israel should be wiped off the map! But have they told you the rest of his speech and that why he's said this at all? If you know a little literature, you know that it's a passive sentence.He's never said that IRAN wants to wipe Israel off the map! And he wasn't talking about destroying Israel, he was talking about relocating Israel, so that they could live seperate from Palestinians and they could both live in peace.They've only told you this phrase not the rest of it and it's mistranslated deliberitely.Iran's always defended itself, but it's not an offensive country, while most countries have nukes and are clearly threatening Iran to nuke us! Good isn't it? Some say he's said: Holocaust is a myth!Still this is a single phrase from among a long speech and there are totally logical reasons for saying so.Moreover, don't you believe in freedom of speech/mind?If 6000000 Jews were killed, that's so terrible, but those 300000 Shiite Moslems killed by Saddam aren't important at all! Over 650000 Iraqi people are killed and it's not important! When Fox News simply says: America and Israel are capable of destroying and killing all Iran's 690000000 population, it's OK and no one says they're threatening other countries to nuke them (I saw this with my own eyes on the Fox News web-site) Millions of people killed in Afghanistan, Hiroshima %26amp; Nakazaki and vietnam war are not considered human beings at all! Now I think you'd get the point why he's IRONICALLY said it's a mith.I know Americans don't like these either, but what can they do?I hope someday the media would end all this instead of playing a negative role in the world.

I don't live in the US, so I have not found myself in that propaganda current, but I do not have the best impression about liberty and freedom issues in Iran, I have to confess. Isn't there any form of censorship (even of the type when the government establishes laws to "protect" the people?). What about the content of the education and the political "extensions" of it? Don't be offended, I am very happy to have had some things clarified by someone who actually lives in Iran, FINALLY. But knowing bits about government dictatorship history all over the world (including the country I live in), pop culture is convenient for "paternal" leaders, because it does not raise any issues of opposition to the present conditions.

I would like to have some Iranian women's opinion, also. I like Iran and I believe it has an at least respectable culture. But you seem to be objective, and even though the football thing seems weird to me (and maybe anachronistic uselessly), I can think of the following fact.

In Greece, where I live, there is a similar situation with women, who are not allowed to visit mount Athos and its many christian orthodox monasteries, even know this place is known as Mother Mary's garden (Greek Christianic Orthodoxy still remains the widest-spread religion all over the country) - this situation has repeatedly been a matter of debate and "fight" among politicians, journalists and the Church, but it stays the same for tradition reasons.

And yes, to my deep disappointment America has not learnt a single thing even from the Vietnam War, which so much seems to have hurt the American people.

Lately, I've found myself wishing that I could go to Google to get answers to questions such as when and how will my aunt die (she's sick). I wonder why my grandmother was the way she was and I find myself wanting to use Google to find out why. Of course, I know that I can't get those answers on Google but I keep finding myself going toward the computer as if I could! Am I alone? (I tried Googling for an answer to that question and it didn't work. Nah, just ,kidding!)

Whenever I am feeling lost or frustrated, for some reason lately I have gone to google and type in a specific question like "What is my purpose in life?" half expecting google to tell me.. hehe..

Actually for that search, it took me to the Oprah website which ended up being very helpful... so you just never know...

Why do i find christian girls so attractive ?

well i find christian girls very attractive for whatever reason . find it odd considering i don't go to church and not religious. but if given the chance to date one of the christian girls i know locally or seen on facebook i would jump at the chance.

i find them to be well mannered , attractive , conservative yet still modern , and they seem like very nice girls . some have also surprised me one i saw on facebook had a tattoo of the word faith on her foot. have been surprised that many have piercings or the even small tattoo . but overall they seem very much like normal girls but with morals and more resectful to themself . find it attractive that there modern yet not really liberal in the sense .

so have you noticed this as well and is it weird that i find them so attractive as i'm not really religious?

and would any of these christian girls consider dating me if i was not christian ?

It's not a matter of religion, as much as those who "practise what they preach". Certain ones, may not consider dating you, but many wouldn't have a problem with it. And who wouldn't admire the many, qualities that self confidence, self respect and manner are the first signs off. After all, it's like the saying goes, "you can't (love) others, if you don't (love) yourself", holds true for most anything. It shows a strong foundations for their lives and all who come of it or enter into it. Chances are you'll probably end up with one of this type if that's what attracts you. It's like i always say.........

"We pick and choose who we marry, not who we fall in love with" !!!
Reply:Attraction is attraction! You can be attracted to anyone really so its not weird that you find Christian girls attractive=). The reason is just like you said, not to say at the least we are perfect because we all are human and make mistakes, but most are well mannered, have good values, and sweet etc. It would be different for her to date you since you are non Christian, but dating is all about learning about each, you both can learn new things together. and nothing is impossible, just beware you can't change her beliefs.

Why do people find these funny, did i miss the memo?

When did people start finding movies like Walk Hard, Knocked Up and Napoleon Dynomite funny? I don't find these movies funny at all. Napoleon Dynomite didn't make any sence. Walk Hard had maybe one funny part and Knocked Up wasnt funny at all. I don't understand why people find that sort of stuff funny. A loser gets a hot girl pregnant, how is that funny? I mean some of it can be funny to an extent, like if someone takes a dump on a lawn that is funny but I don't see what is so funny about genitals.

Can someone please explain to me why people find humor in such films?

Example of what I find funny: John Waters movies, Seinfeld, Wrongfully Accused, Heathers, Mean Girls, Little Miss Sunshine, Saved, Superbad.

Why do people find these funny, did i miss the memo?
I liked Walk Hard, as I am a fan of that kind of "mockumentary". OK, not as good as "Spinal Tap", but still a hoot.

I don't think ANYONE can explain napoleon Dynamite to me. I just have to assume it strikes a chord with a lot of people. Humor is personal, so what you find execreble, someone else finds entertaining
Reply:Well, in terms of Napoleon Dynamite, I like it because it's clean, dry in terms of humor, and something I think a lot of people can relate to. Being a nerd, not being popular, an outcast, whatever... It's also got some really funny scenes in it. I don't know, I love it. As far as the other ones you listed, haven't seen em, so I can't say.

Ironically, the ones you say you find funny to me are the opposite. Very unoriginal, not humorous, and harsh to watch...
Reply:It doesnt necessarily mean anything, you just have a different taste in comedy. Your sense of humor could be slapstick, screwball, grossout, dry, wit, sarcasm, dark, the list goes on. It comes down to what you find to be entertaining. Personally i like all the movies in your list but i liked knocked up and napoleon dynamite too. People find knocked up funny for the same reason you find mean girls funny- it comes down to whats gonna keep the viewer entertained. Youre not gonna like every movie that comes out- so then just dont watch em!
Reply:Napoleon Dynamite was funny to me but I had to watch it a couple of times before I really got the humor. It is just so ridiculous. But, You a correct about the other two. They weren't funny. For some reason, there have been a lot of comedies lately that aren't very comical. More like light dramas. I don't find find farting or genitals very humorous either.

I believe inspiration and happiness comes in various forms. Sometimes, I wake up and am generally happy that I woke up. And I think nothing can touch me but beauty and love. Which is the best feeling. Other times, like this afternoon after watching the movie Rudy, I find inspiration and happiness instead of it finding me. Sometimes even, I do something I'm extremely proud of and feel like I can do anything. Also, I'm into the arts. In every way, shape and form. I paint, draw, dance, photography, write, play the guitar, etc. And sometimes, while searching for inspiration when I'm stuck in a rut, I like to go on photobucket and look at beautiful pictures and free my mind. Or listen to music that inspires me. Incubus mostly.

So, my question is, where do you find inspiration or do you think inspiration finds you more then often? Do you have a story of your own you find inspiring? There's no right or wrong answer and it's a pretty broad question. Just answer with what you think is right.

When I do good in school, it makes me feel invincible. But when I fail a test or something I feel mad guilty :(

I kind of have an inspirational story- When I was five my house burned down that year I lived in various places until my house was rebuilt. Then the year after, I almost died in a car crash(I had to jump out of a car). And it kind of makes you appreciate life more.

When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it.

She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station.

She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story.

The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before.

When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her.

She asked if they would ask the man one question.

Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her.

When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."

Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98% of teenagers will not stand up for God?

Reply:I find inspiration in people overcoming obstacles. They might be of extreme pain or patience. I like it when people put a lot of energy into the disadvantages they have in life and turning it around. I love stories of some of our Presidents. Like Roosevelt being crippled from polio, but he turned out to be one of our strongest leaders ever.

I kind of have an inspirational story. I was diagnosed with bipolar when I was thirteen. After going out of the hospital, I had to adapt with a mental illness which made me hallucinate and have bad depression. It got so bad, I couldn't even attend school for more than one class.

I then got better by telling myself to accept who I am. I turned my bipolar around this year. In two months, I went to all classes. By the end of four months, I got a 4.0 GPA.

What makes it better is that I also have autism (a learning disability). Music and the will for the better aided me with this.

Now I'm happily working on time equations, particle physics, and designing a space colony for a NASA contest.

Reply:I find stories where people conquer the odds inspiring. It ranges for me from when the US beat Russia to go on and win the gold in the 1980's Olympics to kids in my own town who have survived car accidents that by all accounts should have killed them.

I personally was born with a heart defect that doctors were sure would get progressively worse and that I would need surgery, but that the surgery would be life threatening in itself. My mother had smoked during her pregnancy with me and felt terribly guilty over the whole thing. She went into a church and promised God that if I got better she would never smoke again. A few days later my heart fixed itself and my mom hasn't smoked since. My name, Gabriella, means God is my strength.

Everyday is an inspiration. We are alive, what more could be asked for?

Theres a book that has been out of print since 1975, I can't find any mention of it anywhere on the internet. I searched every "Book search engine" and out of print Book searches online. Even contacted rare book search companies and they couldn't find any copies of it. Checked ebay in different countries. and still I found nothing. It was never famous and i suspect it was published by a small publishing company (certainly not a mainstream publishing company)

At this point I would be thrilled if I could just find out the name of the author and the publishing company that published it. Is there someplace that would have the list of every single book that was ever published (in american languages) ? Shouldnt there be like a central database, like copyright registers or something?

Reply:The Library of Congress should almost certainly have the information. I'm sure it's an American copyright library. (You could also try googling copyright library. They're the places you want, because they're supposed to get copies of everything published. There should be a few in America.)

I assume you are talking about a book published in America. (What do you mean by "American languages"?) If it's British, the British Museum is the UK equivalent.

It seems strange that you can't find any reference to it anywhere. After all, 1975 isn't old. Are you sure you've got the title and so on right? It might be a good idea to ask around and make sure you've got the title, author, publisher, etc., right. Start here. Give a summary and any details of what you remember, and ask if anyone knows the correct name, etc. I've seen the most surprising results here. There's always someone who knows the book
Reply:I'm sorry, but there is no list of "every single book that was ever published." The Library of Congress (http://loc.gov) database won't include the book unless its copyright was registered. (A book is copyrighted the moment it is created, but full protection requires that copyright to be registered--and not all authors and publishers bother paying the money and completing the paperwork for that.)

You can search the LOC database by title alone.

I have an assignment to write a paper on a problem that a member of a group might have, and I chose to write on Lack of Motivation. I'm supposed to define it, identify a theory that could be applied to help, and discuss a solution to it. The main focus is on the solution. I need to find three resources, but I'm having trouble even finding one. They can be anything but websites, although if it is a published thing, it's OK if I found it or read it online. I'll be going to the library in a couple days, but I'd like to get some headstart and if I already had some of the resources found that would be awesome. Can anyone find some online publications dealing with this?

Okay my mac can't find my phone using bluetooth, and my phone can't find my computer using it either. I've tried putting them both in discoverable mode at the same time; just using the computer to find the phone (of course, both in discoverable); then using the phone to find the computer; turning the phone off and back on and then using the computer to find it. I know that my computer works well, and the phone is new. So what gives?

It might be that the software of your bluetooth on your computer is not properly installed. Try reinstalling or updating the driver of your bluetooth.

You may also try to check some other bluetooth devices on your phone. Try to check if your phone is able to detect any other bluetooth devices. If so, then there must be wrong with the bluetooth capability on your computer. Check software and hardware.

Reply:It's really difficult to find a job for a young teen in the newspaper. A lot of places demand experience and they don't want to waste their time or money. I landed my very first job when I was 14 years old. My dad and I walked into a mom %26amp; pop Pizza resteraunt in town %26amp; they just fell in love with me. I believe that you will have more success if you find a small, locally owned company and actually enter the location and talk to the owner. Tell them that you're looking for a job for your child or whoever %26amp; you'd be surprised how many hearts you'll touch.

there was a person of that race that you found attractive? I guess what I am trying to ask is, if you didnt find a particular race of girls/guys attractive, would you exclude them completely? If you are a person that doesn't find a particular race of the opposite sex attractive, would you EVER see yourself with that person, even if he/she had all the qualities in a girlfriend/boyfriend? Ok, how about this, if you are(insert race here) and wanted a person that had (insert criteria here), would you limit that to only one race? Like me, I am Black, and I dont find many Black or White girls attractive, but if one came along that had all the qualities I wanted in a girlfriend, I'd still go for it. I'd never restrict love to race only, that would get me nowhere. You get what I mean? OK, enough out of me, your turn. What do you think? Reply:hmmm that’s a good question. first I think its important to always ask why you feel a certain way because I’m only 18 and i cant stand when people give the pathetic excuse of "oh well that’s just how i feel". society has a lot to do with what a lot of people find attractive and as long as you’re aware of that and question your thinking, then you should be a healthy individual.

well I’ve generally not been attracted to black guys for various reasons, but I think mainly because i grew up around different races/cultures and i never felt like i had to be into guys of my own race. although bw dating guys of other races is more common where i live than many other places in the us, it was still kind of taboo. Also I hated the media always ranting on about how everyone wants a black dude cuz…well you know. so i guess dating exclusively outside my race was a rebellion thing at first; like a big “**** you” to anyone who thought it was wrong. as time went on, it just became what i was attracted to. crazy because i think women of my own race are gorgeous but you know that doesn’t really do much for me : \

um so to answer your question...i don’t really think i would unless i started seeing black guys in that light. i mean i have friends around me everyday who have the characteristics i look for in a bf. am i going to **** them? not necessarily. i think that narrowing your list of desirable racial characteristics to a specific look or race is kind of bizarre though I’m not gonna lie. For example Latinos are a mix of black, Spanish, and native American blood and I dated this one Latino guy who looked more on the black side. Reply:I used to think that after I died, I'd understand what this life was all about.

Then I came to realize that, if there is an afterlife, there's no reason to suppose that I'll be any more all-knowing in that one then I am in this one.

So even if I find out what happens after I die, I am not certain that I'll know that it was after I died.

What if this life is the afterlife of some previous one that we can't recall?

If you can imagine the idea of losing some item you possess during the normal course of activities that you do on a daily basis - then that is exactly the same as losing a body. The normal course is find another and get on with the game. The major difference being you also lose your connections with people of the previous game - you have to re-organise others all over again.

I don't want to know because I don't think I would be able to live while knowing what awaits us on the other side of our mortality. I think it's supposed to remain a mystery until we experience it.

I found all kinds of information on my mom's side of my family. I also found allot of information on my dad's, mom's side. But I came up agenst a wall when it comes to my dad's, dad's side.

The earliest information I can find on him is the 1920 cences.

His death ticket said he was born in 1915. But does not say where.

His military records say he was divorced when he was inlisted. I can't find proof of that eather. I am still looking for more information on that subject.

I even got help from the lady at the library. She could not find any information on him eather. And she is an expert on geneology. She teaches classed on it. Nothing is adding up.

Where should I go from here?

I can't find any birth records on my grandpa. Could he be adopted?
way back in those times a lot of people were born at home... mostly due to poor families or un-able to get to town or a doctor out to the house... and sometimes births just did not get documented..... but maybe if he had a social security card the social security administration will help

In the U. S. Census on the far right it tells where they are born, like texas, germany, etc. What does it say when you look at the census?

I try to avoid things like that, but that is a real eye opener this morning.

First... there is no guarantee that there is a birth cert in 1915 (or there may be, and you have just not found it yet). There actually was a time when births were considered private business. The lack of any record does not indicate he was adopted.

You have him in the 1920 census. Without info to the contrary, that is likely to be his parents. Was he an only child? if there are siblings, you will want to chase any documents on them as well, since their birth locations will show a pattern. The most obvious might be to pin down when/where the parents died, and if they owned land, there would likely be a probate file, identifying the children.

IF there is one place missed by the librarian.. it might be not recognizing that what is online is just a FRACTION of the possible records.

Knowing the location (county) in 1920 is key. You would want to confirm that the parents were also there in 1910, and it's the first place to suspect that they died. If in luck, they have a good county genweb site (not all are very good), and the alternative is subscribe to the county email list from rootsweb.

Also.. can you post his name and details, maybe one of us here can find more for you?
Reply:This may sound like an odd place. Try contacting the Mormons in Salt Lake City. They have an unusually successful base of genealogical information. They have "worked extremely well" for me. Also, it may work to try the State where your grandfather joined the Army. Sometimes, various states hold onto their information "like gold." Remember you are entitled to this information and NOW. By the way, you should write to the governor of that State and also the State that you live in, and "ask" for help in this matter. Don't take "no" for an answer. I wish you well. Reply:Start with relatives and family friends. Ask them what schools he attended, what his first wife's name was, where he was born, and go from there.

One reason why you might be having trouble is because some people in the era of 1915 were still being born in their houses. Their births might not be recorded in hospital records. You'll have to dig for family history. Even try newspaper articles from his hometown around his birth date and other sources, like a family Bible or baptismal record from a church that might have listed his birth date and parents.

Another reason you might have trouble is because in 1915, many children were adopted. Some were placed on orphan trains heading from back east to farms in the midwest and California. Check with orphan train websites to see if his name is on the list. It would show his sponsoring adoption organization, name, age and hometown.

The last possible reason for your difficulty has to do with possible family secrets. If a birth was the result of rape, adultery, etc., people of that era would have hushed up any mention of the child's origin. Good luck.
Reply:According to where he was born. For instance the State of Texas starting getting vital records in 1903. But a lot of people who were born at home didn't get a birth certificate. My parents were born in 1907 and 1908 and they both had to get a delayed birth certificate in order to draw Social Security. I had a great grandfather that died in 1914 and he is not on the death index.

Different states started accumulating vital records at different times.
Reply:First, if you didn't go in person to inquire about a birth certificate to the county you believe he was born, if it is close enough - GO! Oftentimes these records are indexed by hand, and by someone with bad handwriting. It was a famous story in my family that grandma had to get her driver's license with a death cert. made out by a overanxious doctor. Her name was thoroughly misspelled in the register (and out of order), but I found it.

Then I would suggest would be checking the marriage records for your grandparents. The county clerk (or other official depending on your state) would likely have an application for marriage in which he would have provided info on his parents, birth date %26amp; place, occupation, whether married before, etc. If that information isn't in the application then check the church that the ceremony was at, if any. (If Catholic they might have the church he was baptized at.) If that is a no go, you might check for a wedding announcement in your gm's hometown. Also if your dad (or one of his sibs) has a baby book, check it.

If that doesn't get you anywhere look for siblings if he has any, these tend to be mentioned in marriage announcements, obituaries, and probate proceedings. I only know my mat. gm's g-g-gf, because it was listed on the death cert for his sister.

Also if he was in WW2, check and see if the town he enlisted from, or where you believe he lived has a book on WW2 local soldiers (or browse through the microfilm for that time yourself). Some have photos, clippings of letters sent home, etc.

Also check and see if there is a historical society library in the county your gf lived most of his life in. Often their collections are different than the libraries.

Also if this is the same gf as in your other post, did you only check WPA index records at the library or did you go to the Health dept? The WPA index for Indiana, while it did go to 1920, had a lot of missing info. So go to the health dept.
Reply:It's hard to find birth info on people really old. Because the record keeping system was not very good back in the day. They did not have the technology like to day. Like Ellis Island a lot of immigrants had their names changed. Because the immigration workers, would become frustrated with language barrier. They would just change spelling of names and everything. That's crazy!

1. First of all, If i dont find the right job for me, i will have to settle for anything...so do you know any budgeting and shopping techniques that help to stretch a small paycheck? I know people out there can do it and HAVE to do it.

2. I want to find a job that will allow me to serve God and also make an income to buy basic needs for my family...I am in dire need of working to provide for my six-person family and I have only ONE more month to find something quick; but - take my word for it - there is no daycare in the area for my newborns! how do i find a work-from home job but also find the career that I was born to do?

3. I know the obvious answer is to do what I enjoy but that is not always the best answer. IF you are a Christian, what do YOU do for a living? I need ideas!

you advised that there were no daycare for newborns. Why not open your own daycare in your neighborhood? I'm sure their are mothers that would like for someone to care for their new born's. especially when you keep only 2 plus your own. 5 days a week, some saturday's off Sundays for church. it is very rewarding and child setting is a very important job. our children live want they learn. section off a room in your house for only you and baby(s).you'll be so busy time will fly. check the local library on the rules and regulations.

where i live it is $95.00 a week and on fri. we have to pack a lunch. this is for one child. if it is baby's it is more due to diapers, which is also furnished by the parent along with the

When babies enter care in the first year of life, their dads are less approving of them! Moms are less warm to the baby and babies less attached to the moms. Apart from this devastation to the family unit, there are bad affects for the baby's intellect, social skills, and even health. Kids in care get more than 2x as much surgery as kids not in care! and have 7x the ear infections.

I am a Christian and I work construction. I do not like construction anymore as it is tearing up my body and made me older than my years. I do it for the pay and benefits so I can give my family the best that I can give them now and in the future. You just gotta do what you gotta do to live a good life. As a Christian God would rather you be living at a higher standard than that of some "small paycheck" job. God wants us to excel and achieve to a higher level so as to set an example to others that God takes care off those how help themselves. Of what good are a bunch of underachievers and unmotivated people to His purpose? The Bible calls for us to tithe to help do his works. Does He want you to work and achieve and do your best to advance His works or does He want to see His children struggling to scrape by paycheck to paycheck? You know God wants us to be an example of his Goodness and being a minimum wage worker is selling Him and yourself short. Work is not supposed to be fun that's why it's called work and why fun is called fun. Do the right thing and do the very best you can and the rest takes care of itself.

i have to do a lab to find the coefficient of friction. In this lab, we must slide a block down an inclined plane. we have to find the following forces. Fp = Force of parallel, Fn = Force of Normal, and Ff = Force of Friction. Also I have to find the coefficient of friction (μ). I have no idea how to find it but so far i have the angle of the slope (27°) and the Fw (force of weight) which is 1.1N. Youre suppose to use trignometry to find these values. Also Fp equals Ff in magnitude in this trial and you can calculate the coefficient of friction after obtaining all this other info. Ff is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to Fp. I've provided an rough image of how everything looks like.

I would very much like to start a project making bracelets and crocheting and selling both and giving the proceeds to the people who are currently trying to find a cure, my Uncle, my Mom,and I were all very close we were all devastated when we heard the diagnosis,but even more when we heard incurable.

well my question is i'm single and have been for a while , can picture another lonely holidays and valentines day fast approaching.

live in a small town of 18,000 . wondering how can i find a girlfriend or what could i do to improve my chances ? as i haven't been having much luck lately . ( well realise i might not find one rate away but would like to find one in next 5 months or so if possible )

in past didn't have much luck at high school dating scene and at college did better but didn't find a relationship and now back home and not finding things going anywhere.

Reply:1) Hobbies....You need to be diverse in your activities. If you like sports, then join a team or a gym. If you like Astronomy, join a club...you get the idea...you need to put yourself in a position where there are other people of similar likes.

2) Don't be afraid to get rejected. Its going to happen. they are not rejecting you...they don't know you..they are rejecting either the circumstance or the idea of going out. If you get rejected, brush it off and move on.

3) You don't have to be a smooth operator.. but you do have to be interesting. How do you get along with co-workers? Do they think you are a fun guy to be around? You need to maintain a persons interest on a date, or the first date will be the last.

4) Nervous Jarvis will kill a potential date. I know it is hard...but if you are asking someone out...or even going out on the first date, try not to be nervous...too nervous, and you will make your date uncomfortable. Plus they will think you lack confidence. Why be nervous anyway...your not marrying your date...in fact, you should go out on a date with the intention that YOU are going to have a good time...the date is your date, so enjoy it!

Reply:Hell that's a big city compared to where I live. 100 in my community, 300 in the closest town and 1750 in the county seat. Sometimes I have had to settle for some less than desirable's just to keep my whistle wet. Don't be to picky is all I guess I can say, unless you're looking for a keeper. In that case you may have to move or look elsewhere. Here it's like swapping, everyone knows everyone else and has slept with half of them. Everybody is raisnig everybody elses kids. I found a God, he said his name was not Jesus, and I do not know his name. Then he brought me to proverbs 30:1-4, look at the last part of vers 4. What is his name, and what is his sons name, if thou canst tell. He showed me here that it was the father face that I was seeking.

is this a cool or what. To find God, and no one know's his name, I heard people say his name is Jahova, But why does God show these scriptures to me. Maybe we do not prononce it right?

Thats right, we cannot pronounce G-d's real name. He doesn't let mankind know it, because He is too Holy. Some refer to Him as Hashem. This name that only G-d knows is eluded to in the bible, but even that version of the name is inpronounceable and so isn't even attempted because it should never be mispronounced.

To find out or not to find out?

My partner and are trying to decide whether to find out what the sex of the baby is or wait. He doesnt want to know but I do and i said well I'll find out and not tell you and he was like no. So how many of you foudn out and what was the best thing bout finding out and was it still as good as a surprise when you had it.

To find out or not to find out?
When I was pregnant, I let my ex and my mother find out the sex of the baby, because I absolutely didnt want to know...i wanted it to be a surprise. Well, needless to say, they each told somebody, and that somebody told somebody else, and it ended up spreading like wildfire, and I ended up finding out the sex of the baby. I was very disappointed. So, unless you are planning on telling absolutely NOBODY, I wouldnt find out. Because even if you only tell one person, that you really really trust, things slip out with out us realizing it, and whomever they accidentally tell, may not know that it is intended to be a secret.
Reply:I understand the element of surprise you are going for, but it makes it a lot easier if you are going to have a baby shower and if you want everything to be prepared when baby comes home. If you don't want to find out then I would suggest having a welcome home part instead, that way you know exactly what you need. I found out the sex with both of my children,and I was just as happy if not more then if I hadn't found out. Remember ultrasounds are not 100% but they are pretty close. Congrats and Good Luck.

I am 27 weeks with my first and I didn't want to know at first but my hubby did. I shed tears of joy when they told me it was a girl, I am an only child and it was great to have a girl! We have bought some clothes and have gotten gifts already! I couldn't stand the yellow and green!

Reply:I was indecisive at first but I looked at the ultrasound and saw clearly that it was a boy....no one had to explain that to me! I am glad we found out becuase I was looking at unisex stuff and all that yellow and green gets kinda old after a while. I like my little boy outfits! And my husband is completely happy about having a boy. If you can go without knowing then congrats but I would go crazy wondering!!!!
Reply:My daughter said her and her mate did not want to know, but when the time came she asked and didnt say anything to him but he guessed. He was ok with that, but I guess it all depends on how suprised he want to be. It does not matter as long as their healthy.One thing about knowing is you know what to buy for clothes, but keep it netural. Congrats on your new addition, and good luck!
Reply:Well, I found out on all 3 of them. I couldn't wait. The best thing about finding put is obviously that you can buy things for your new baby early. Buying neutral colors isn't as much fun. I you want a certain sex, and you find out that you are having what you want, then I think it makes the pregnancy a whole lot better. You kinda feel like "wow this is really worth it." I wanted a girl with my last one, and I found out it was a boy, and I was pretty upset, so I guess that would be a drawback. I mean I was really really upset. I never wanted a boy I had 2 girls before that, and I just lost all interest. So I guess you could say that maybe in that case I shouldn't have found out. But I think I would have been a lot more upset if I didn't know. There's really not too many pros and cons about finding out, it's just a matter of preference.
Reply:I found out ( i am 36 weeks pregnant now) that i am having a boy - there was no way i could keep a secret from myself. I kind of wish that my husband didnt know as he has let it slip a number of times. I will only find out next time.

I am glad i know as it has allowed me to buy clothes and room furnishings that are boyish and i feel more like we know each other.

I figure that it will be shock enough on the day just meeting him regardless of the sex so it was nice to find out at 18 weeks and have at a suprise then. I really wanted a boy so i am so happy to have known that is what i am having for the last 18 weeks.

Reply:I found out with both of mine,i am pregnant again and in a month i will find out again...I think the surprise is not taken away when u find out at all,u dont know what the baby looks like or anything so there are many surprises at birth/.....I say find out as soon as u can,its the best in the world...To see the little one on screen and when they say that word its a girl or its a boy,your heart just stops and u feel overwhelmed with joy...i tell u u will not regret it,u will be soo happy u found out...I was definitely surprised with my two,my daughter cam out sooo chubby with rolls everywhere and a butt chin which was the cutest ever..my son was born chubby as well but had these eyes that were to die for...go for it,u will enjoy it!!!Have fun and good luck!
Reply:I found out for my first two, and not my last one. It wasn't my choice, couldn't see to tell. I hated not knowing, and I loved finding out, even though I never got the gender I wanted. It helped me to get over that and look forward to seeing the baby. When I didn't know, I felt hope of getting the gender I never got. Took me longer to bond with her because I didn't have the time beforehand to grieve for the lost hope and son I never got. I always preferred to know, bugs me not to know, and it is what I needed. My needs are just as important as his to know or not, it is your baby, and your needs. You need to do what works best for you, and the rest will work itself out, like many conflicts. Remember to respect his needs too, without giving up your own.

Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you. There is one in Sherman, Texas and you can find it all. The beads could be at any hobby shop. I don't know about the book or black candle. I would suggest looking up Wiccan books on line and get an idea and also black candles.===

Cant find homes for kittens?

i have a litter of black and white kittens very cute.located in idaho.and i have run ads in the local paper and even online and cant find homes for them.I already called the spca and they dont want them and my landlord is getting very mad so i need to find homes for them asap...any suggestions please.if i could just find someone in my area that could take them all and find homes for them so i dont get kicked out would be great but i know a lot of people wont take 4 baby kittens all at one time.but never hurts to wish and hope right lol

I like the idea mentioned above about sitting in front of a busy store like Walmart. I see people who do that all the time and they usually have hones for their animals in a short time. Its better than just dropping them off somewhere and better than getting kicked out of your apartment. Also, look into gatting thier mother spayed (if she is with you). Call the SPCA usually they will offer low priced spays.
Reply:If I was there I'd take them for you. I applaud you for not throwing them out to fend for themselves. Try putting them in a box and sitting with them outside a busy store- you're likely to have people see them and want them. Its harder for people to say 'no' when they see the cute little fuzzies in reality, and not in an ad. Good luck!

'Now eating dry food (Eukanuba brand; bag included), comes with toys...' is a bit of a plus; makes 're-homing' that much easier. If somebody just says 'come take these kittens,' I tend to doubt that they've been very well cared for. Frankly, I feel better about the whole business when somebody asks for a small adoption fee. You might consider asking for enough per kitten to be able to get Mom spayed...

Reply:did you know that 80 % of all "free to good home" kittens do NOT find good homes??? people like yourself cannot screen prospective new owners well enough - you cannot determine if that nice family is going to use the kitten for snake food, to train an illegal fighting dog to kill or going to sell it for research...

most SPCA's have to help animals in need, and will not turn away any animal, I used to work at an SPCA and we even had a night drop box (cages that people could leave animals in over night)

best thing you can do... is spay your mom cat so this problem doesnt happen again - MILLIONS of kittens are without homes, and ever kitten born is part of the problem

Recently my family was trying to find a flight deal to Europe for a good price. online cheapest that we could find for June were $1,700+(most with 2 or 3 stops)

So we decided to call our agent that our relatives know. He found us a deal for $1,300! one stop!

then I went on that airline's site wich is delta, and tryed to search for te same flight only to find that THE SAME tickets that we're getting are being sold for $1,300 on delta's main site!

Is there something im missing like not searching good enough, although im pretty sure 1,500 is the cheapest you can find to Europe these days. and im flying to Moscow...which is even more east. and how do the agents find such good deals? so easily? dont they earn money from doing that too?

To get the really good deals with trans-Atlantic flights(and trust me I booked both on line and thro agents for years) is to do one of 4 things

1-book either early or late thro the internet(the cheap flights go 1st and don't re-appear till just before the flight--early varies on the carrier-can be 6 months or 8 months or even a year)

2-Use the travel agent the same way except wait till the last moment (thats when they try to offload the ones they cant sell--remember they bought the early ones you were trying to buy all these months ago)

3- Try to book a flight to somewhere close to where you are going-ie a flight to London Gatwick is far cheaper than a flight to London Heathrow

4-wait till a carrier has an on-line sale(can be really cheap but you have to catch them).Usually held between X'mas and New Year

I used to point out pretty girls to my husband so I'd beat him in saying it first!! after awhile he quit saying it and i felt a lot more secure in our relationship so it didn't bother me so bad. I found a dog, how do I find its owner?

I found a beautiful and extremely rare breed of dog. I know she must have an owner looking for her. Any ideas on how to find the owner? She is so rare her breed isn't even listed on the lost pet websites I have found.

Take her to a local shelter and have her scanned for a micro-chip. Also take a snap shot of her, and give your info to the shelter incase the owner calls or goes in looking for her. Post a "found" paper at local places, and maybe post a found ad at www.craigslist.com, in the proper city where you found her. Also call local vets and let them know your info incase the owner calls into them looking for a lead to their dog. Good luck in finding her "parents." It's nice you want to find her family, and not just dump her off, or keep her without an effort!
Reply:Take it to a vet/humane society/aspca -- somewhere that has a microchip reader, to see if the dog is chipped; if that doesn't work, run a lost %26amp; found ad in your local paper (my local papers will run these free of charge).

Reply:Put an ad in the newspaper for a "Found" dog but only give a little description, that way, when someone calls and says its their dog you can ask them to describe it to you a little to make sure the aren't traying to steal it or something.

One of your best bets would be to call local vets offices and ask them if one of their patients fits that dog's description...then they will be able to tell you who owns it!

through yahoo messenger i went to communication then clicked send message. wrote message then saved it in drafts folder. i was able to pull the file to edit and send. i saved the message and closed the folder, but i was curious because there was not info about the message being sent. so i went back to the find a message bar clicked went to edit clicked to find clicked to message then titled look in for drafts as i did previously. this time results showed 0 messages found. i tried several different options with no luck.i do not know if i deleted it by sending it. oh, i did change the recieved before box and recieved after box to the next days date.maybe i will be able to find it on the date i placed in the boxes.

It's probably in your documents folder titled with the first sentence you typed int the document.

Where can I find unique clothes?

I'm looking to find some unique clothes both online and instore. For instore I've been thinking of checking thrift stores, but does anyone know of another place I could try? Please don't suggest the stores normally found in a mall (such as American Eagle, Aeropostel, etc.) or any other "common" stores.

I'd like some suggestions on places to look online, also. So far, I've only found sites such as asiajam.com and ccs.com. I've been searching around eBay as well. I'd prefer to avoid Forever 21, Rue 21, Wet Seal, etc.

Basically, I'm looking to avoid the trends. I just can't find anything in the more popular stores, it's all so cookie-cutter (no offense). I just want something a little out of the ordinary, but nothing TOO out of the ordinary. Maybe something a bit on the vintage side?

Any advice? I appreciate the help A LOT. Thanks and I'm really sorry for being so picky.....I just can't seem to find many unique clothes anywhere and hope someone will be able to help.

I generally don't wear the norm either. I love clothes with rhinestone or crystal, any brands. Check out polyester shirts with comics on them, wear bright colors, shirts with faces or shopping lady motifs, studded and chains.

Los Gatos is supposed to have a nice one but I can't remember the name of the shop. I think the name are letters and not words. I totally agree with you about the trendy stuff.

a file that i am trying to download from dailymotion.com was recently removed, HOWEVER, i found a site called leechvideo.com that seems to have the file hot-linked somehow or something....trying to find the flv file code has me coming up empty-handed.

Try downloading Media Player Classic player. It is a freeware and able to play alot of file types-even more than Windows Media Player. Used Googles to find Matroska pack to download to your computer. This is a decoder for your media player.

Now that I look back, all those girlfriends, all those kisses, everything was so ... mechanical. All this time, I was with a girl for reasons other than love. Some one just said to me, MONEY CAN MAKE YOU RICH, BUT LOVE WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY. All this while I was of the opinion, money will get me love too. But a part of me now disagrees to that. I now ask myself will I ever find true love, I even don't understand what love is, what if I don't find love, what if I have money but no love. But a part of me also says that money is necessary too. I mean I still find it hard to believe that love could exist without money. I want people who're in love to answer me.

(3) How will I know when I am in love?

(4) Can love exist without lust?

I'm not in love, but since there don't seem to be any other answers, I'll take a stab at it.

You get to keep all your money for yourself, spend it on stuff YOU want, and do what YOU want to do with your spare time.

Your IQ and shoe size become equal.

Yes. I have heard of this happening, but its not very common.

Me, I have never been in love, but I've seen others do it. Its kind of like a drug addiction as far as I can tell. My relationships tend to last as long as the infatuation and then abruptly end.

Money means nothing in this equation, neither does anything physical. I am 6 foot 3 and weigh over four hundred pounds. My wife of 10 years is 5 feet tall and weighs 110. We are in love. We woudl do anything for each other. I have a dead end job and am having trouble finding a more promising craeer. We want to move forward financially, but it is hard. We have three children. All we care about is love. We love each other, that's all that matters. If we make more money in the future that would just be icing on the cake. I am huge and fat, but my wife loves me. My wife is small and beautiful, but I lover her anyway. We love each other for what is on the inside not what is on the outside and definitely not for what is in the bank. That's good too, since we're usually overdrawn.

I was out walking today and found a wonderful brown glazed pot head of a boy roughly 5cm tall. It is looks as if it has broken off a figurine (or possibly decorative object).

It was found within an old slag heap in Leeds where 19/20th century miners left waste. The heavy rain has washed away to reveal a fresh layer of finds. I often find clay pipes with very interesting patterns there and your usual pretty broken crockery but never anything like this.

Is there anything online that can help me find out what this originally looked like?

Hello Cairn Raider. Must be really interesting in those old slag heaps. I used to dig for relics here in New Zealand. Mainly old bottles and such like. Perhaps you could type in Museums? I think perhaps the British Museum might help, or one of your local museums perhaps?Good Luck!

Ok guys thanks a bunch for helping me find the song I was looking for, but now when I try to actually find the song, its nowhere to be, well, found. I found out that the version I'm looking for is by Cat Power, I checked ITunes, they don't have it, anywhere else I might be able to find it? THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

Cat Power is notorious for remaking songs for commercial jingles. Besides the Cat Stevens song, How can I tell you. She has also done a jingle for Cingular, Hangin on the telephone originally by Blondie. Unfortunately, you can stop searching for Power's full length versions of either of these songs -- they don't exist. They were simply recordings for the commercials themselves....maybe one day she will release them as full length songs since her versions are so popular. good luck....
