recently ive found a hole lot of ppl that i used to go to skl with... its been nice seeing them all again but its made me want to get in contact with the guy i used to like... he once sent me a drawing when we were in yr3 and i liked him ever since that... since then ive moved on and stuff... but after seeing so many others ive wanted 2 find him... do u think he would think it was weird if i found him? is there any websites that u can find old friends on? im also thinking about planning a reunion so i could use that as an excuse 4 finding him... but how do i find him... any ideas plz? thanx in advance!

Should i find him %26amp; how do i go about it?
sure, find him. use classmates.com.

But be prepared for anything...for all you know, he might be in a happy relationship at the moment. If he is, try not to bring him misery by trying to get him away...I've heard of that happening so many times! If he sees you as a negative influence or something difficult to deal with, it'll come back and bite you later in your relationship, assuming that you'll succeed in getting him back.

Of course, everything could turn out perfectly. Just be realistic and don't go chasing after him until he starts chasing you!

good luck!

Will humanity find life on other planets within the next century? If so, what do you think we will find?

NASA is preparing "life searching" missions in order to detect life on other planets and I wonder, what will we find? Some people believe that we will find animal life before we find intelligent life. Some believe that just finding plants will be a sign of "life" while others don't think we'll find any life at all. What's your opinion?

Will humanity find life on other planets within the next century? If so, what do you think we will find?
Yes. Follow on missions to TPF will be able to do spectroscopy of terrestrial planet atmospheres. Tell tale signs of ozone or other free oxygen in the atmospheres conclusively implies some process is at work producing it, because it has a very short lifetime otherwise.

The article I cite is too new to be free, but the abstract gives you the gist.

So it won't conclusively demonstrate life, but will make a strong case for it. The form of the life is likely to be algae type stuff.

Why am I so certain? Life arose on Earth pretty darn quickly, so it is not likely that it is such a rare event. I suspect many terrestrial planets in its star's habitable zone will have life similar to that found on earth a few billion years ago.
Reply:%26gt;Tell tale signs of ozone or other free oxygen in the atmospheres conclusively implies some process is at work producing it

CONCLUSIVELY IMPLIES????!!!!!???? What a jacktard.

If all you wanted was to hear an answer you already knew, why'd you even asked the question? Report It

Reply:Morpheus... you are a fool Report It

Reply:do some homework there guy and you might know a little more. I asked the question because I wanted to hear peoples point of view end of story. Sorry if you're pissed cuz I didn't choose your answer. Report It

Reply:Take a course in critical thinking. How can something that is implied be conclusive? I could care less if you pick my answer, just pick a rational one. But then, you asked for 'opinions', so I guess you had no intention of learning anything anyway. Report It

Even traveling at a ridiculously impossible speed like 1/10 the speed of light, it would take 40 years to reach our nearest neighbor, Proxima Centuri, which is actually a system of four stars, and scientists doubt there are any earth-like planets there anyway.

One of the problems that most people simply don't understand is that the universe is insanely huge. The distances between stars are so great that looking and listening is about all we can do, probably for many hundreds, possibly thousands of years to come. Even if astronomers discovered an earth-like planet at a reasonable distance (lets say 50 light years), there's still absolutely no way we could possibly know if there is life on it. We could direct a message towards it, but it would take 50 years to get there. Then, if by luck there were intelligent beings there, who knows if they scan the sky for messages. They may simply be concerned with their own affairs. Or they may live underwater. Or they may be cave people.

But lets say they're like us, and they happened to be insanely lucky and are listening at the exact spot in the sky for our message, at the exact time fifty years from now to hear it, and lets also assume that we broadcasted it long enough to get their attention and notice it. There's no way to know if their intelligence has any correlation to ours, or if they can even distinguish it as a message.

So again lets give the benefit of the doubt and say they understand it and broadcast a response. That will also take 50 years to get back to Earth. Now, further assume that 100 years from now, there are no great policy changes, NASA still exists, CETI is still being funded, and the scientists who first broadcasted the message somehow made certain that a few generations down the road, some very responsible entity continued to listen to that spot in space. Maybe, if we're really, really, really, lucky, we recognize the alien broadcast, and are somehow able to decipher it... and hopefully the aliens are broadcasting continuously so we keep getting the message.

Well, now we have our proof, but what do we do? It's going to take another half lifetime to communicate a second time. As monumental as this would be, most people would return to their daily affairs of plain old living, and forget about our alien friends. After all, a great many won't be alive to hear their answer

Frustrating eh?

Such is the nature of interstellar distances. And this is incredible best-case scenario thinking. A life-seeking probe is simply the stuff of science fiction. Voyager I, launched 10 years ago, is only 12 light HOURS away from earth!
Reply:I think we will find life on other planets sooner than that. scientists have discovered other stars that have planets orbitting them, much like how our solar system works. the universe is so huge! i think we would be selfish to think we were the only living beings inhabiting it.

my guess is that they will be something like us...but im not sure. i am just a firm believer that we will find life.
Reply:No, we cannot find life on other planets,

Where can I find my odd bra size?

I got fitted at Nordstroms today (bras on sale!) and I found out I am a 30DD (but they didn't have any there in that size) or a 32D (but it doesn't fit as well as the 30DD). I got 2 32D's, but I'm trying to find more.

Now we all know it's impossible to find 30's. Especially 30DD's. And its also impossible to find 32's bigger than B's. (I wear 32C's now and I only have 3 bras because theyre so hard to find).

I only went to Nordstrom because of the sale... but where can I look to find bras for my odd size that aren't insanely expensive (I am willing to pay a little more if I can find the right size)?

Where can I find my odd bra size?
I have the same exact problem, but mine is an E, so for now I just suck it up and wear 32DD or 34D. Sure the band is uncomfortable as hell. But I've tried about 6 times ordering bras online from overseas, because to tell you the truth...you are NOT going to find a 30DD in America. It's not made here, it's not sold here. In some stores such as Macy's and Lady Grace they carry 32D, but in very few styles, they're usually granny bras anyhow, nothing cute or simple but still nice.

If you order from overseas just make sure you know a lot about the brand. Of the 6 or so bras I got...none of them fit me because in the UK and everywhere esle in Europe they run about a cup size small. And then some depending on which brand you look at. Freya runs smaller, M%26amp;S runs smaller but they have an extremely weird shape like they're only made for people with implants or very stiff boobs...I dunno...they're weird. You're also going to pay a pretty penny for them. Have you looked at this site? http://barenecessities.com They have a lot of sizes.

If you're looking for something a little more Americanized in style...Fredericks of Hollywood actually has several in a 32D. Go to the store and compare though...Maybe you can find one that's ill-fitting. Hold the bras length-wise and compare their lengths from hooks to eyes, and try one whichever is smaller and see how that works. Sometimes that's what I have to do.

And I'm sick of these retarded people suggesting Walmart! Are you kidding me?? They don't even carry a 34D which is a hell of a lot more common than our sizes!

To Robin K below...32DD is one cup size bigger than a 32D and 30DD. When the band is decreased a size the cup in increased one size to compensate for the difference and change. The volume of a 30DD cup is the same exact volume as that of a 32D, 34C, 36B and 38A. A 32DD has the same cup volume as a 30E, 34D, 36C, 38B and 40A. If she were to wear a 32DD the cups would be too big.
Reply:go to walmart and look in the bra section...they have a collection by playtex. they have different fits like nearly A, A, overly A....they are cheap and really comfortable!!!!
Reply:Here's a good selection of 30DD's

Reply:Myintimacy.com will find a special store in your area.
Reply:I'd try Pennyrich bras, they will fit you perfectly
Reply:ummmm maybe at avenue...
Reply:If it would make a significant difference in availability (more findable, or less pricy) you could get a 32DD and take in the hook area in back by a couple of inches. I get bras that sometimes stretch out, so I add a little more life to them by sewing them tighter in back. Couldn't hurt to try.

Reply:figleaves.com is great. They have tons of your size on their website. see attached.

Need to find specific Soccer Goalie Gloves! Please Help!?
You might have a hard time finding these gloves as they are out of production. Adidas stopped making them about three years ago. I know you don't want to hear it but you might check ebay if you know the style name (I cannot remember). I don't think any soccer store would still carry them in stock.

English speaker? can you find grammar error in my essay? thank you?

Sharing a Subway Seat

Sarah attended St Claire's College, which was quite far from her big, lovely house. One day, she had to go to school via the subway. Come morning, the subway was so full of passengers that anxiety overwhelmed her excitement of traveling on the subway, and after taking evening classes, the buses were nearly empty and she always got anxious about traveling alone at night. Worried, she needed to find a seat, but she would be sitting next to a stranger. In a matter of seconds, she opted to sit with an old lady who had smiled at her before. In a situation like this, where the individual has to make decisions involving strangers, s/he will make these decisions based primarily on few rules.

Making judgments and drawing conclusions are prevalent aspects of human nature. As a result, few rules are applied to find a perfect seat on subway. First, it is unlikely that the individual will choose to sit by a burly person who gives off a sense of rudeness and hostility. His appearance and behavior is perceived as threatening and this, in turn, makes you subconsciously associate him with known threatening individuals such as criminals. This can give you a sense of uneasiness throughout your journey. Your instincts tell you that this is a 'threat', even if it’s not. Therefore, people tend to find someone who they perceive as gentle and 'safe'.

After finding a safe person, next rule is applied to find someone who will not disturb your journey. Focusing on a person’s body language in a particular situation through observation can help you decide. If you want an individual to leave you alone, after all s/he is a stranger, then you need to focus on their specific behavior. A person who is sleeping peacefully is not about to get up early. On the other hand a woman who is holding her purse tightly and looking towards the door is the one who meets your expectations. You can assume the lady is going to leave the seat thereby leaving you alone. Focusing on the characteristics of the individual to see if they match your desires, and avoiding unnecessary details is a hardwired routine in human nature. After all, you are not looking for a lab partner to dissect rats with in Biology, or a plumber to fix your tap. If you are looking for someone specific, then focus solely on their characteristics.

After finding a polite person, the next rule tells you to find a person who is following unwritten social law. Social rules and regulations that people make in relation to others are important. In every situation, focusing on the individual's personal social expectations is an important step in understanding the nature of others. Avoid sitting near a person who is breaking the Unwritten Social Laws; for instance; someone who is throwing food all over the place is a natural reaction. You need to size up the fellow passengers' behavior in order to know if certain behaviors are acceptable in a particular environment. If the passenger in question is a hyperactive child who is creating problems for everybody, avoid him, for his behavior will, consequently, draw attention to you. A child has a different view of the world than an adult. That can make many adults uneasy, and this is not something you want to experience. Your mind only needs a few seconds to gather information about somebody else and a human being has the full capability to judge a person from their behavior within a couple of seconds.

Finally, the last rule says always notice people’s reactions towards you to understand their minds. If the old lady is anxiously looking at you while clutching her purse, she is considering you a threatening presence, and you should avoid sitting by her. Her behavior leads you to believe that you appear threatening, even though you may appear completely harmless to someone else. People’s staring can make you feel that they perceive you appearance strange. Nevertheless, staring is a common aspect of human nature. You should not let their reaction to ruin your journey.

Sharing a seat with people in the subway is basically influenced by how one perceives them and their behavior. To make judgments and draw conclusions, a person's behavior and social etiquette are a few points to consider during a journey. These rules are not only helpful for finding a perfect seat, but also applied for an individual to understand the basic concept of human nature.

English speaker? can you find grammar error in my essay? thank you?
Come morning, the subway was so full of passengers that anxiety overwhelmed her excitement of traveling on the subway, and after taking evening classes, the buses were nearly empty and she always got anxious about traveling alone at night. -- I would fix that part into two separate sentences like this: Come morning, the subway was so full of passengers that anxiety overwhelmed her excitement of traveling on the subway. After taking evening classes, the buses were nearly empty and she always got anxious about traveling alone at night

Focusing on the characteristics of the individual to see if they match your desires, and avoiding unnecessary details is a hardwired routine in human nature. -- The comma is unnecessary. It makes the focusing ... desires look like a participle phrase trying to modify the subject of the sentence.

Otherwise, I'm pretty sure the remainder is ok grammar-wise. Spelling is not my thing. Good luck!
