I found a master lock on the ground and I want to use it. How do I find the combo.?

It is just on of those regular pad locks, and I found a video that tells you how to open it and find the combo, although they said after I found all five whole numbers and got rid of the .5s I would have 5 whole numbers. I ended up with six. I checked over and over again and even tried all two hundred combos I would have if it were either one. What am I doing wrong. The numbers it stopped on were,


1.5, 4.5, 8, 11.5, 14.5, 18, 21, 24.5, 28, 31, 34.5, 38


I took out all the .5s and 8,18,28, and 38, and I was left with 21 and 31. I divided both by 4, and added 4 as many times as I could, then I took the other number you need (I don't remember what it was) and added for as many times as I could. I found all the possible combos for both and none worked. WHAT DID I DO WRONG!!! Please no I don't know what you are talking about answers. Just real ones please. Thank you.

if the lock is numbered 1 - 40 there will be 40³ = 64,000 possible combinations, not 200. I don't believe there's any simple way to find the right one.





To tell you what you're doing wrong we'd have had to see the video and watch what you're doing, wouldn't we?
