Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, jm + jn + km + kn.?

2. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, ab + 2a + 3b + 6.

3. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, x^2 + xy - 2x - 2y.

4. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, mn - 4m - 5n + 20.

5. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, ab + 4 + a + 4b.

6. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, y^2 + 10z - 10y - yz.

Thank you very much.

Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, jm + jn + km + kn.?
2. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, ab + 2a + 3b + 6. = a(b+2) + 3(b+2) = (a+3)(b+2)

3. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, x^2 + xy - 2x - 2y.= x(x+y) - 2(x+y) = (x-2)(x+y)

Do you now get it? Try the others similarly

4. Find the factors for the following four-term polynomial, mn - 4m - 5n + 20.

Reply:j(m+n)+k(m+n)=(m+n)(j+k)

just take the common multiples out and ull get d answers dese r really easy ones....
Reply:jm + jn + km + kn

= j(m+n) + k(m+n)

=(j+k)(m+n)

#2, #3 and #4 are exactly the same idea

#5 just needs to be reordered

ab + 4 + a + 4b

=ab + a + 4b + 4

=a(b+1)+4(b+1)

=(a+4)(b+1)

as does #6

y^2 + 10z - 10y - yz

=y^2 - 10y - yz + 10z

=y(y-10) - z(y-10) [note how the negative is factored out]

=(y-z)(y-10)
