How can I find people's mailing addresses?

I'm getting married in May and need to find out people's addresses to send them an invitiation. Is there any kind of free search engine that will find mailing addresses? I can find physical addresses easy enough but can't find their mailing addresses. Any other tips that people might have to find out mailing addresses would be appreciated.

Thanks

Why dont you just call them or shoot them an email asking for them?

Reply:Question - what do you mean that you can 'find physical addresses easy enough but can't find their mailing addresses'? I would think that physical and mailing addresses are, for most everyone, one and the same. There are different types of people search engines where you can look them up by name and hope there aren't multiple people with the same name, or reverse phone number search. But, if you know a person well enough to invite them to your wedding, perhaps you know them well enough to actually call them up and ask for their address.
Reply:call another family member that invited those people to their wedding. some people keep their invite list for memories and have their addresses too... otherwise all ican say is call around. goodluck.
Reply:Depends on what country you're in - if you have their physical address you can look them up on usps site to get the full zip code.

OR, you can send a mass emailing asking people to give you their addresses for your wedding list - a little tacky, but better than not being able to invite someone because you don't know where to send the invite to.
Reply:I'd say that if these people are invited to your wedding, then either you, your fiance, or your parents are close enough to contact these people for their mailing addresses. It's not rude to call or email and ask!
Reply:I am unsure of what you are asking. Aren't physical and mailing addresses usually the same?

To find mine, I just the phone books and www.whitepages.com and also contacted other people in my family that may have known other people's addresses.
Reply:You COULD just call and ask, but if thats to simple......
Reply:Ask them. Some people have a certain address they'd like personal mail sent to.
Reply:You easiest and most reliable answer is to call that person directly.

Why guess? Why ask other people? Why waste time looking through the telephone book? Why waste time doing a search on the internet?

Just call that person and ask them their official mailing address, and then you know it is correct.

And if you cannot contact that person then the next best thing is to call their Mother or Father or brother or sister.

Reply:Physical addresses %26amp; mailing addresses are 99% of the time one and the same. You can call family and friends, send out e-mails and you can use Yahoo people search.
Reply:The best thing to do is call people up. I would not trust a phone book or a search engine. They have the potential to give wrong info, like incorrect zip codes or street spellings. Also, make sure people haven't moved recently or started using a PO Box.

It's not rude to call someone up and say, "Hi, Uncle Mark, it's Lisa. I'm starting to get my invitations ready for my wedding. I just want to make sure your address is correct. Could you tell me what it is?"
Reply:Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! There's a few things I can think to do: send it to the address that displays in the phone book; they must have some connection to that. You could also phone or email to check postal adresses. If you want the invite to arrive as a surprise, you need not specify what you are sending, just say to people you are sending "something in the mail". Good luck with married life.
Reply:Ask friends or relatives who would have that information. Or ask the person themselves.
Reply:Yahoo white pages is a good place to find addresses. Also family and friends are good resources.
