Where can you find the best Wesite to find cheap or reasonable fares?

I find it annoying to find a fare, book it and then find a cheaper one. I would really like to find a way to get the same cheap fare as allowed to any passenger on the plane.

Where can you find the best Wesite to find cheap or reasonable fares?
priceline.com

cheaptickets.com

travelocity.com
Reply:Check out www.farechase.com. It is the best of the travel search engines as it has almost all the major US carriers, a decent amount of international carriers and searches Orbitz as well. On the hotel side, it also has a great amount of sites. The best part is that this site searches all the sites directly for you so you dont have to open up multiple browsers to compare prices. Also, it lets you book directly with the site so you can get miles, bonus points, etc.
Reply:I use Travelocity and/or Expedia to find the Itinerary that I want, then I go to the Airline's website to book it. It's usually 10 or more dollars less than the travel sites, and it's easier to change if you have to.

Some airlines (like Southwest)are not available through Travelocity and Expedia. I also set up alerts on the airline sites to notify me of good fares for places that I often go to.
Reply:I have to agree with cheryl. Everytime my parents and I fly somewhere, which is every few months, we use either travelocity.com or cheaptickets.com. My mom is the type who will go to website to website to website JUST to find the cheapest rate and everytime she buys tickets she uses one of those websites. These sites also have simple instructions and I have never felt like I wasn't understanding their papers fully.
Reply:I USE ORBITZ.COM NOW.I FOUND IT TO HAVE BETTER DEALS AND MORE INFO.THE ALERTS ARE GOOD AND I THINK IN MY MIND? IT'S BEEN THE BETTER ONE.
Reply:Usually I use Expedia.com
Reply:expedia.com
