Find a photo on computer?

I was searching the internet the other day and seen a photo and now I can't find where it was cus I forgot the website. I can't find any remainants of it in the history. I looked all on my computer but can't find it anywhere. I looked in the temporary internet files and it isn't there. Does anyone know where I could find this photo. It didn't have a name to it that I know. If it helps in anyway I am running Vista, so I don't know if maybe they just dump the temporary internet stuff, or if they save those images somewhere else on the computer.

If it's not in your temporary internet files then it's gone, that's the only place Internet Explorer puts files that are left over from your web browsing no matter whether you're running Vista, XP or any other flavour of Windows.
Reply:If you didn't save it, probably not. But, the best way is to go to yahoo homepage, images, then type in something about the photo. For example, if it was a boy's haircut, etc. If all else fails, go to Google images. Good Luck!
Reply:hmm if u can not find it in your temporary internet files you can not retrieve it. maybe you can try googling it and with any luck you may find it...also did u intentionally clear your history because if you did you definantely can not retrieve it. your last RESORT would be to check your cookies because if you visited that site you may have downloaded cookies from it and if you can find that specific cookie you will find that site. to find your cookies--# Open 'Windows Explorer'

# Click on the 'Search' button on the tool bar

# Type "cookie" into the search box for 'Folders and Files'

# Select 'My Computer' in the 'Look In' box

# Click 'Search Now'

# Double click on the folders that are found

from there you will have to sort through the files. Depending if you on a daily basis clear your cookies will have an impact on your site from being found.
Reply:are ya sure its not in your "Cookies" ? my bet is it is..
