How do we find God when he is far and beyond the reach of human intellect and sight?

Do not find God.Let God find You.Because he is far and beyond the reach of human intellect and sight.so let God find you!

How does God find you?

God recognises his own light,no matter whosoever bears it.

Bring into your heart even a minute spark of God's light. As soon as your heart is enlightened, you automatically come within the range of God's sight, because he looks at shiny hearts.

Does it make sense that we do not know where God is.So let him find us?

How do we find God when he is far and beyond the reach of human intellect and sight?
look within youself and you will find him
Reply:its not its just a con to keep you believeing the man made fairy tale its a way to keep the brainwashing gowing only fools believe this rubbish
Reply:It's call FAITH? God is never far He is all around us.
Reply:in order to find god, you must believe he exists, if he exists you have faith, if you have faith, he therefore exists to you, but not to me as i doubt his existence, i am at peace with that, as you should be with faith.
Reply:God is not really that far away- because he is seeking us out everyday- we just have to look and believe and you will find Him. He wants a close and personal relationship with us- it is our sin that separates us from Him- that is why He sent Jesus to seek and to save the lost. He died on the cross and paid that price that we could never pay in order for us to find Him. We love Him, because He first loved us.
Reply:u wont need to find god he is already found within ur heart.
Reply:there has to be an openness for an individual to let God in ; he isn't that far beyond our intellect; he created us and he surely knows any limitation ; everything that he did was out of love; we have the intellect but we also have the excuses
Reply:Please believe me when i say to you "there is no god so stop looking"....
Reply:You know I get what you are saying. Its funny how as human beings we interpret things in this way,I personally think that let god find you is just an easy comeback line . But I do believe that everybodys experience is different,as in he will come to you in the way that you are most comfortable with, not necessarily religion but on a level acceptable to you. My own journey started when I was reading "the power of one "Echart Toll ,it was the first page I started reading and it resonated with me like an explosion going off in my brain,it literally blew my mind and answered so much with so little. I was on a high for weeks after reading this.As far as I am concerned that was God waking me up . I have never forgotten that feeling and I never will. Love and light
Reply:If god can't find me, he must be blind as a bat. Perhaps he is powerless?

Or, more likely, he does not exist.

Which do you choose?
Reply:Jeremiah 29:13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

GOD bless
Reply:That is beautiful.

We only find God when He chooses to reveal Himself to us. The Bible says something to the effect that to the Pure He will show Himself Pure and to the Froward He will show Himself Froward. I think that's in Psalms or Proverbs.

We have to Want to find God or we never will.

Thank you for that nice thought.
Reply:It makes more sense that you don't have to looking for God as well as He doesn't have to look for you. It's not the heart that matters to God as the heart is part of the body. It's your soul that you yourself causes the light to shine. The brighter the light of your soul, the more you know God is with you, as He always is.

Reply:Such beautiful thoughts..It is said those who have the light of god love within speak kind words and warm sentiments and wondrous truths....for his love cleanses our minds and purifies out hearts and we can see and hear nought but the wonders and beauty of his creation.

Be So Loved.
Reply:"Being" God rather than "Knowing" or "Conceptualizing" God
Reply:Philosophically it's against the nature of our Intellect to find what we have committed to search for. This does not mean that God is unreachable, but that we with our Intellect, have made Him so. We seek God as we seek the Truth, and the Truth, according to Deuteronomy 30:11-14, is not mysterious neither remote from us. It's not up in the sky

that we should ask who will go up and bring It down to us? Nor It's across the sea that we should say, who will go there to bring It to us? And It's not beyond the reach of human Intellect; It's very near to us, already in our own mouths, and in our own hearts. We have only to carry It out.
Reply:We are told in Scripture that God does not want anyone to perish.

Many are called but few are chosen.

Maybe they are not chosen because they turn their backs on God in rebellion.

Read the Bible to learn about God's ways and wishes. Pray to God, through Jesus, for His help to understand and obey.

God knows mens' hearts and there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents.
Reply:If god wants me I'm sure he can get my phone number.
Reply:I guess I'm running faster than god- as he hasn't caught up with me yet.
Reply:God draws righthearted ones to him. If your heart is not upright, then God won't draw you to Him. He can read our thoughts and intentions,

Be humble and read the Bible and PRAY if you TRULY want to find Him. Believe me, if you have a good heart, he'll come for you if you search for him.
Reply:We can find God easy enough , thru Jesus His beloved...In Jesus God is revealed... And we can have a relationship, if we so choose ....He is always waiting...
Reply:Talk about senseless dribble! Stop looking for someone that either dosen't exist or is damn good at hiding! I live for the day when all these weak, helpless, pushy religionists find the strength to take care of their own lives rather than have to rely on some mythological "higher being" to get them through life!
Reply:through spirit, energy, divine faith, and strict obedience
Reply:God is not far off. Seek him with your whole heart and you will find him. You ae unlikely to find him by being passive and not seeking.

Jer 23

23Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

24Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 29

12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
