Find A Cure??????????????????????????...

Hello, my name is Jenna, I'm 16 years old, I had an Uncle my Uncle had cancer, my loving Uncle passed away from cancer. I would very much like to start a project making bracelets and crocheting and selling both and giving the proceeds to the people who are currently trying to find a cure, my Uncle, my Mom,and I were all very close we were all devastated when we heard the diagnosis, but even more when we heard incurable.

My first question is, what society is the one who is specifically being donated money to to find a cure?

The second is, Do you have any ideas as to where to put up my jewelry to sell and the box to help find a cure

My heart goes out to all of you who have loved ones, have had loved ones,or are the ones who have cancer, I am doing this in loving memory of my Uncle and for the search to find a cure. I honor everyone who has cancer and anyone else like my mom%26amp;I who helped care for your loved ones until the end!

Find A Cure??????????????????????????...
The American Cancer Society does a lot with the advancement of cancer research. Also, when my wife was treating at Mayo Clinic is Rochester, MN, they had an outreach called Hope Lodge, where she could stay for free while treating for cancer.

To help the most with the specific kind of cancer your uncle had, I would research the Internet because I am sure there is a specific foundation...for example, if he had colon cancer (like my wife did), there would be colon cancer foundations to support. These research groups would mostly benefit from money than your jewelry donation, so perhaps if you wanted to sell the jewelry and then donate that money.

My deepest sympathies for you and your family. Cancer is a vicious and unbiased killer and all we can do to prevent it is research (like you said) and diagnosis as young as possible. Bless your family in this holiday season and I really hope you keep your passion for helping the research for cancer cause, because this does effect everyone.
Reply:I am really sorry to hear that. I had family members that had Cancer and that ones that passed away from it. My Heart goes out to you and your entire family. Try going on to chat rooms or forums dedicated to families with Cancer. Maybe you can get something together with them. I wish you my deepest condolences and best of luck

I am sure that by the help of them you can advice others to get cure from cancer.
Reply:I'm really sorry about your Uncle. My mom is living with breast cancer, and It tears me apart to see what she goes through sometimes. What you are trying to do is a great thing. Ask around at little gift shops and see if they would be willing to give you a little spot to help sell your jewelry. If it is a local shop, sometimes they are more willing to lend a helping hand to others. Or put an add in the local paper advertising your jewelry, and maybe even at your school if they allow that.

My prayers are with you and your family.
