Why cant one find full, main-stream, comics online? Not just summaries/reviews, but the actual books.?

I can find music (mp3s), ROMs/Emulators, tv/movies (youtube, daily motion, and others), but I can't find full, mainstream comics, on-line. I'm not talking about web comics, such as the NBC's Heroes, but actual issues of Marvel and DC books. It used to be you could go into just about any store, even K-Mart, and find fave comics. Now, it's almost impossible to find them anywhere. So, I thought to turn to the web, where I find all of my other entertainment wants, in hopes of find issues online. They don't even have to be current issues; they can be stuff from the 60s for all I care! Any sites out there?

Marvel comics puts some of their books online for viewing.

good luck!
Reply:C'mon, how would the comic company make any money? You can find some public domain comics online, but the big comic companies are really vigilant about keeping comics that are still under copyright offline.,
Reply:you got money?
