Find the geometric mean?

1). find the geometric mean between 5 and 12.

2). Find the geometric mean between 1 and 7.

3). Find the geometric mean between 8 and 25.

4). Find the geometric mean between 4 and 100.

Find the geometric mean?
Add the numbers together and divide by 2

:]

so number 1 would be 8.5

seriously Hun, do your own homework
Reply:a, m, b forms a geometric sequence

then

m/a = b/m

m² = ab

m = ±√(ab)

1.

m = ±√5(12)

m = ±√5*3*4

m = ±2√15

2.

m = ±√1*7

m = ±√7

3.

m = ±√8(25)

m = ±2(5)√2

m = ±10√2

4.

m = ±√4(100)

m = ±2(10)

m = ±20
