That is NOT in any way a bike anyone would abandon,,,like an old trashed out dirt bike hulk.

Thats an EXPENSIVE bike

Call the Cops

You might wanna be on alert for YOUR personal safety.

If the thing was Stolen and Stashed there,,,somebody may come looking for it.

Not trying to alarm You,,,,just alert You to keep Head's Up and Eyes open for any suspicious activity in your vicinity

Good Luck
Reply:Call your local police and have them run the VIN.

The officer can do it over the radio, no problem.

It's not often someone just leaves a Harley sitting in a backyard.
Reply:i say if you can get there number call the previous owners and see if they know anything about it if they dont then call the police or the dmv
Reply:i agree, an 03 Harley with a 1000+cc motor cost alot of $$ and u shold call police on the non-emergency number
Reply:Yes that is right its a very expensive harley. And dont pay any attention to racefanw does not no anything. That harley is someones baby and they will be looking for it.
Reply:take bike to junk yard and have it melted down for scrap. it's a piece of junk why do you think it was left behind.
Reply:Yeah.

Your state DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles)
Reply:Not exactly sure on how you would go about finding the owner yourself. My suggestion would be to contact your local police department and tell them the situation and have them run the tags and contact the owner. There is the possibility that it was stolen and that's why it was left behind thinking that the new homeowners would be charged. You can never be to careful. Good luck.....
Reply:Better listen to TX , No telling who or what is looking for it Dont get caught in the middle Let the cops sort it out off your property
Reply:recently, i noticed an abandoned yamaha and found the owner by the license plate # and a police officer calling plate # in.
Reply:Call the state police for the state that it's registered in. They'll take care of it.

I live in PA and there was a car with NJ plates parked in front of my house for 9 months and never moved. I sent an e-mail to the NJ state police and a week later they came and towed it away. Turns out it was stolen from a car dealership over there.
