Ways to find a lost camera? PLEASE HELP?

I lost a Digital Camera at a Museum in New Work.

It has much sentimental value and it means a lot to me.

I tried to find it right after I lost it.

But I cannot find it :(

I tried to:

1. I asked the Lost %26amp; Found department of the museum and they just said no camera was found. I keep calling and having same response.

2. I posted a notice on craigslist.org %26amp; some other website and there is still no response now.

3. I also looked over the stores which sell used camera nearby the museum. Until now, I could not find it.

But I will keep searching the used camera stores.

Can anyone suggest ways for me to find it, please?

PLEASE HELP

sorry, but that's like losing a 20 dollar bill on the street. Just hope that the finder of it is using and caring for it in a gingerly manner. I mean, not breaking it or whatever.
Reply:its gone.

It might have been taken by some tourist .....

I lost a very expensive Ebel watch in Disneyland, made a report at lost and found but never heard from them .........
Reply:dont lose it in the first place ya silly goose....or just pray to bruce willis and if he deems it so u shall find said camera
Reply:pray to saint anthony i swear it will work! works for me everytime!
Reply:I'm sorry you lost your camera. No doubt someone picked it up and its gone for good.

Yet another reason to keep your camera tethered to your wrist or hanging around your neck at all times. You must remember that there are a lot of people out there who are waiting for you to leave your purse open or lay your camera down and turn away. BOOM! Its gone!
